The US military uses metric. Are they more educated than the rest of the country on that account?
Apparently so.
If I told a marine to walk for three hundred meters then make a right turn and walk another two hundred meters he wouldn't think twice. If I asked another American that they'd wander around for hours.
Actually, he'd say, "'Right?' You mean 90 degrees or to my 3 o'clock?"
Well if he didn't have a watch he wouldn't know what time it was, would he?
Herp Derp, my jokes are bad and for that I am sorry
There are plenty of other words to use. JuiceCakeOohI can think of one N word.
Neighbor!
Ahh, see! Had you goin didn't I? ;)

No, just no. While the metric system is definitely neglected to some extent by the U.S., people know what the magnitude of a meter is. Ask them how many Newtons they weigh, then that's a different story.
Ok I will ask them. Many Europeans say the american education is "corrupt" and consider theirs to be superior. What exactly makes theirs better though?bcroger2Hey buddy, how many Newtons do you weigh?
