@pablo0977 @Whiskey3romeo Most of us are hoping Destiny's striped shirt and plaid pants won't be the fashion trend for future hyped, big budget, triple AAA releases.
Destiny lacks way, WAY more than just a compelling plot. Lackluster mission structure, lackluster patrols, lackluster loot system, lackluster leveling system, lackluster PvP.
It looks nice, the audio is exceptional and the core mechanics are very sound, but absolutely every other aspect of this game is bland, generic and downright amateurish. Just like the story.
@unreal849 The really sad part about Destiny is nothing in the game is actually "broken".
It's all working as designed. Think about that for a minute. Broken things could actually be fixed. Most, if not all, of what's wrong with Destiny is stupid...and you can't fix stupid.
@chemicalegypt Battlefield and FIFA have been the only EA franchises I've supported for years, and this is exactly why I will no longer support FIFA. What really grinded my gears was how clunky and unreliable the trade/transfer function is, of course until it becomes almost completely broken several months before the next release. That's the only way you can make the money necessary to build good squads without spending real money through microtransactions, which I've never done nor would even consider.
