If this isn't a joke, was the car alarm coming from your car? Did you go back to sleep after that or stay up and check stuff?

A male being violent towards a female will generally bother me more than male on male violence. Admittedly, it also bothers me more than women being violent towards men, unless the male is like half the woman's size or something. I don't know why. Woman on woman violence doesn't bother me more than male on male violence. Any violence against children is a lot worse to me than violence against adults.

No. Pointless, yes, but not immoral.Makhaidos

I don't think it's pointless if you both enjoy each other's company.

The point of videogames is to experience things that can't be experienced in real life. For example, your comparison of hiking vs Uncharted or Tomb Raider doesn't work because those games are not realistic. It's fun because you can do things you normally can't, like being chased by water in a sinking ship and surviving. As for simulators, they try to be realistic but there's still that aspect of doing something you normally wouldn't be able to. For example, racing simulators try to be realistic so that you can feel like you're really driving all of those cars. Not many people would be able to afford to drive all the cars in Gran Turismo in real life. This is why we also feel excitement when we try something new or out of the ordinary.

Your question implies that we're comparing real life and virtual experiences of the exact same experience, so in respect to that, I'd have to say: obviously real life is superior. I mean, come on, who would prefer to go "hang gliding" in Far Cry 3 rather than doing it for real? However, the biggest advantage of virtual experiences is that they cannot be compared with real life.

I'm a guy in high school, and so far, I've only "liked" all the girlfriends I've ever had, meaning I'm attracted to them and think they're fun to be around. However, I've never felt as if any girl was the only girl in the world. I still find plenty of other girls attractive and talk to them. That's not me saying that I've ever cheated on a girlfriend or ever will, because that's extremely disrespectful. I'm just finding that I usually like more than one girl at once, which I've given you my definition of before (attractive to me + fun to hang out with). If one of them likes me back, that's cool, and that's enough for a relationship to me. I mean, in high school, I don't think anyone's actively looking for marriage material. I just want someone who I can enjoy spending time with. However, I see so many other people my age saying they "love" their boyfriends/girlfriends and all these other ridiculous things. Anyway, my way of thinking has led to a few breakups because some girls thought I was "leading them on" or playing them. I've talked to other girls a lot while I've had girlfriends before, just because I enjoy talking to them. I don't actively try to flirt with other girls if I already have a girlfriend, but if I start talking to a girl and we click and I feel like I enjoy her company more than I do my current girlfriend, I would honestly consider breaking up with the current girlfriend for the new one. Basically, I'm not a cheater and again, I never will, but at the same time, I'm not going to completely dedicate myself to a girl as if she's the only one in the world (at least in high school). Is this wrong?

They have a point. Where Google is involved, there should be absolutely no reasonable expectation that your privacy is respected.

BluRayHiDef

That's analogous to having no expectation of privacy when mailing a physical letter through USPS, or a package via UPS or FEDEX. None of these companies open their clients' mail or packages.

I think you misunderstood what the person you quoted meant. He was referring specifically to Google, as they have a reputation for this sort of thing. He didn't mean that you should never expect privacy when using an email service.

[QUOTE="Alienware_fan"]Most dudes are ugly

Alienware_fan

What makes you say that?

Most guys dont care what they look like.

LOL, how ignorant. Are you basing this assumption on yourself or people you are close to? Then there's your reason right there.

Many times, the aliens have colonized other planets and depleted all their resources and moved on to Earth, and that's when the movie starts. And why the hell wouldn't they choose that time to begin the movie? We're humans. We live on Earth. Who would want to watch a movie about aliens landing on a lifeless planet?

Being a straight guy, I don't think I would choose a good-looking male over an ugly female in terms of a relationship. However, I can acknowledge a handsome man.
