BTW if u watch the ending again you'll noticed that the relay core is dispersed and shot into the closest systems relay in chain reaction. There's no Eezo around when they are destroyed. An asteroid a lot larger than a relay impacted with the one that wiped a system. As for the catalyst, idk. I didn't find anything off.

@sircyrus I think everything fell together pretty well other than the fact that the moments after your decision is very brief. I've played all of the DLC for ME2, it was my fav of the series. Did asteroids take out those Mass Relays? I believe that's what caused the destruction of the Batarian star system

@sircyrus Final events break established lore? Are you high, or did you not buy "from ashes" yet? Please explain how it went against the story or mythology. All of the dreams and visions lead up to the conclusion perfectly. The only thing that's wrong with the ending was the vague cutscene after you've made your choice. And, no explaination on how the Reapers managed to drag that bigass Citidel into Earth's system.

I shared a lot of hate for the ending before I played through a second time with the "From Ashes" DLC by a friend's recommendation. It doesn't add to the hours of gameplay but having Javik in the game really filled in a lot of holes. I've disregarded all they said about "From Ashes" being a post manufacture date add-on, it was obviously supposed to be part of the retail game. As for all of the discontented fans they should really make some additions to the end cutscene, or extend the epilogue to at least show the impact of Shepard's fate on ur squadmates and L.I.

@2er0 It didn't suck because of the emotional ending, It sucked because an incredible build-up to the plot unravelled into a PoS Matrix conclusion. How does all out genocide turn into a negotiation? Do you think Russia would've negotiated with Hitler if he'd have called out during the shelling and requested a chat? The Reapers were supposed to enemies, not part of "nature's cycle". It had so much more potential for a conclusion, that's why I'm pissed.

@Gelugon baat I think what Setho10's trying to say is that the article was written based off of speculation and also implies that topics like these are just put out there for clout. It's driven certain people to place 10+ comments obviously. In regards to the topic, a lot of modern day adults grew up with a console so there's a much larger market for them now. In most cases it's the mainstream franchises that employ on-disc DLC's. Of course they're going to market their games in pieces when they know hundreds of thousands will pay. Complaining about it and purchasing anyway is not an act of protest. Boycott it if you don't like it.

The examples of "works of art" by a single artist are completely irrelevent when it comes to creating a game. Video games are made by a community for the community and our input shouldn't be ignored. Bioware has been pulling a lot of this "woe me" crap and I'm tired of seeing them be so defensive towards fan input.

Everybody is entitled to their opinions and I'm sick of the "Ya'll are whiny gamers" bandwagoneers. If you're like me and are $200+ into Mass Effect, than yeah, you have every right to complain about the endings. It reminds me of that movie "The Game". It had such an intense lead-up but in the end it was all a joke.

I didn't like the ending but I wouldn't go as far as to say they need to change it. It is what it is and that's the ugly truth. I also wouldn't go as far to call the ending original either because the idea of man vs. machine (A.I.) is a burnt out concept. One of my biggest peeves in this story (or any for that matter) is how the big events conveniently happen when shepard is around. The Reapers just so happen to make their invasion during the Trial? Here are a few things they left completely open though for ya'll calling it perfect: Cerberus is altogether indocrunated but somehow T.I.M. is still making his own choices? Where's Harbinger, the supposed head of the Reapers? He indoctrunated the Collectors, he wasn't killed with them on their base. Why do the Protheans look like the product of Turian/ Krogan love and not how they've been depicted in the first two? Who created the Reapers? Obviously an Organic since there'd be no artificial intelligence or Synthetics otherwise. None of that was revealed

I think most of us can determine whether or not what we're seeing is gameplay graphics or not. You'd have to be an idiot not to realise the difference in the Gears trailers. I seen gameplay vids out long before the "Mad World" TV ad so unless you're an un-informed gamenut you won't make the mistake of buying a bad game. Just follow the reviews and base your opinion on buying off of user/critic remarks. And, yeah...I'm a Gearhead, so what.
