@wibachinski Good point. They had a walkthrough of a BioShock section before it was released that explained the purpose of the Little Sisters, Big Daddies and Splicers. When the game came out I wasn't disappointed. It had so much more to offer than what was revealed. Maybe they're just running out of things to discuss. The only shameful thing about it is how many conspiracies there are against the video game industry they work to uphold.

Just read somewhere that BioWare promised 16 possible endings. Guess that explains why I went into the ending open-minded, didn't hear about that prior to playing. Woulda pissd me off too I suppose

The only thing I think they could've done to make the ending better would be to put the choices on seperate paths. The fact that they were all right there in front of me ticked me off. Destroy should've been located somewhere else and should've been a defiance of Reaper control. Synthesis should've been the kiddo's main suggestion and Control shouldn't have been there at all. What's to stop the Reapers from coming back? Paragon option was the only ending that totally disappointed me.

Why did everybody assume it was going to be a Silent Hill type ending where what you do or don't can effect the occurences of the ending? Regardless, the choices you make effect the situations at hand and having multiple outcomes within a situation is enough cause to replay as I did with 1 & 2. You still see the results of your decisions within ME3's story, they don't need to reflect on the ending. Besides, name another game where you were given 3 choices for an ending

@Ski_Spastic Obviously, you didn't talk to EDI much. She felt the Reaper threat coming during the Earth invasion and flew the crew to safety since she now has full control of the ship. Take it u remember the ending from 2. She also says she exists primarily in the ship so regardless of whether you take her humanoid vessel on the last mission, she's still in control of the Normandy and she knew what was happening.

For instance, most people I've talked to don't even know about the ending where it's teased that Shepard survives.

@Pnexus I really liked the ending and I think they have a lot to work off of so saying it "needs" a change is just as just as provocative to people like me. I wouldn't go as far to say they need to be shot in the head but their opinion shouldn't matter any more than mine. I could defend any so-called loophole in the story based off my knowledge of the game. People jump to conclusive opinions without even giving it time to grow from several playthroughs. I swear some people either don't read the codexes, investigate within dialogue options or they're just plain ignorant.

@Vodoo (3) An asteroid hit the one in the DLC. The ones in ME3 shoot out their core before they fall apart. (7) Having the ability to choose anything on how the story goes is more than most games can boast. (9) Shepard mentions that every man should be willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the war on the reapers (renegade option in beginning) so if it meant an end to the war... Everything else made sense. I'd like to see more of what happened to the remaining fleets, the rest of ur crew and an explaination as to why Reaper control was in the form of the child. It isn't half the game it is without Javik. "From Ashes" filled that void for me and it's a shame they chopped it out to sell it seperately

I hope they don't change the occurences in the ending. That'd just be wrong, it is what it is.

@simon1812 Imagine working a long time on a jigsaw puzzle you bought new from the store only to find it's missing several pieces. Hellyea it should be free. Patch up the booboo. Personally, i don't think the ending was bad, just incomplete. Like they said, need more closure.
