I suggest the widescreen monitor. I love my 19" widescreen and I don't think I'll ever buy another 4:3 monitor again. You should buy all the components at once, and if you want vista, I suggest you wait since there's limited driver support mated with the bugs that microsoft will certainly work out. You'd be paying a crap ton of money to be a beta tester for microsoft, not something I would feel good doing. I suggest you put your $2000+ in the bank for a few months until AMD's new CPUs and GPUs come out, and maybe even until the first service pack comes out for vista.

try the convergence option on your monitor. higher Hz shouldn't blur the screen but make it easier to focus and less headaches. it increases the fps. hope this helpsZarchon31
You mean spread spectrum? It helps to reduce the (EM?) interference.

If you are on a lcd monitor do not worry , as they actually refresh at 200 hz, they just give a random number to the video card.Jiggly_Wiggly
Why even make stupid crap like that up. When you set an LCD to X Hz, it's going to refresh X times per second. It's no random number.

[QUOTE="9mmSpliff"] Ive read on a few forums about this guy that created a card that is intense and blew away the 8800gtx. I havent seen pictures so I assume that would be it, but not sure as I cant relay anything that contrasts them.

I'm sure that thing isn't going to beat an 8800...I mean, I don't know any graphics cards with ports for ethernet, usb, phone, etc and SD RAM with capacitors soldered to it. :P It is pretty funny though.

[QUOTE="riznitch"]some programs wont function correctly or ifs its a virus it could get worse.zepman71

Actually now that you mention registry.....A while ago I was scanning with Adaware and a registry key came up.....Its been getting registry keys almost every week :S......what keeps reinstalling them??

The malware that adware is looking for makes those registry entries. If you're having problems with malware getting installed on your computer, I suggest two things: 1.) Change the porn site(s) you visit 2.) Watch and virus scan what you download w/ P2P clients. That can help you keep the problem from recurring once you fix it.

Err...no, you need an Internet Service Provider in order to have internet service...that's why they're called ISPs, because they provide internet service.

[QUOTE="Valfare237"][QUOTE="TheLiberalTruth"] [QUOTE="Valfare237"] funny how a lot of high up government officials still have diabetes yet he says there is a cure... ok here are some facts: cancer is mutant cells. no two people have the exact same cancer because the mutant cells came from their own dna. there is no virus or bacteria called "cancer" AIDS (a syndrome) is caused by HIV (a virus). there are many strains of HIV. HIV likes to mutate. a cure for AIDS may never come as long as HIV is allowed to mutate. sadly people are horney thus spreading HIV and allowing mutation. the only cure for HIV/AIDS is to label and seperate the infected - unfortunatly thats against 'human rights'.

Oy. Separate the infected? Whew. How about you take it upon yourself to not sleep around & wear a condom instead? That, at least, makes sense.
The other guy is simply deluded.

eventually people try to reproduce. HIV can also be transmitted via blood (transfusions, re-used needles, barbaric rituals, etc). Moreover a condom does not guarentee 100% protection (last statistics i have heard were somewhere between 95 and 98%). Also, some people choose to participate in sex with a different part of the body than is used for reproduction - it is common not to use a condom because there is no fear of pregnancy. there cannot be a 'cure' for AIDS as long as it is allowed to mutate - somehow, somewhere it is going to mutate into a form that the current cure cannot destroy and will spread even further through the population. on another note: the console version _is_ definatly better. its a bit faster and more clean and doesnt crash my system (the gui one did)

Oy Vey. It makes me sick to my stomach that you're serious. I have to tell you...you were born 70 years too late and in the wrong country. You would have made a very good storm trooper. Speaking of reproduction...please don't. The fewer nazis we have around the better. We don't need any repeats of the holocaust.

[QUOTE="__MACK__"][QUOTE="TheLiberalTruth"] [QUOTE="__MACK__"]

[QUOTE="sepheronX"] acutaly they dont have cures, we just have things that hold em back and help the person live longer than that of who doesnt get this medicine. I know that for a fact cause my grandfather has diabetes and he only has something like 1-2 years left to live, and there is no cure, and its getting worse. Ive personaly seen him take the chemicals we use and such, and hes been taking it alot cause they told him too, and now some of the chemicals he takes doesnt work effectivly anymore, almost as if the diabetes is now growing. But im folding for NCIX.comValfare237

I will repeat. There is already a solution to cure many types of cancer.

A diabetes cure has already been discovered a long time ago too. Same with AIDS...

The government takes your rights.
The doctors take your money.
The medicine takes your life.
A virus takes blame

Thats what AIDS is all about above

This is not true. I don't have any idea what the point of your conspiracy theory is, but HIV, the cause of AIDS, is a real virus.

This is exactly what they want you to think. It might be a conspiracy but its not a theory. This is the truth. I have full evidence.
