People complaining about Call of Duty as a franchise need to look at this from a marketing perspective. Infinity Ward/Treyarch are in this for money. It's not the love of entertaining people, and bringing you all a game year after year. It's a business. It's profit.

Complaining because the game is more or less the same every year is stupid. Why would the company make any drastic changes if it doesn't have to? If you broke records every year for sales why would you decide to completely change a formula for that kind of success?

Coca cola completely switched their recipe back in the day, and everyone hated it. Since then they never touched it, and there's a reason for that. Even though people know it's a disgusting, sugary, bullshit beverage that corrodes your teeth, they'll still buy it. Cod is the same. Even though everyone knows they're in for the same game year after year, it'll still sell millions, and why would either company representing the franchise want to jeopardize that with any drastic changes?

@lcf80 I agree, it's infinitely better than black ops 2, and I haven't had this much fun with a CoD game since 4 tbh.

@el_mariarchi_01 @Nimbil I also disagree. I wasn't pouring a lot of hope into this game, so when it came out, and was terrible it wasn't anything surprising. Resi 6 was so fucking horrendous.

@saint311 @AjenoMerveilles I actually agree with Ajeno. I think of Bioshock 2 as more of a spin off. Infinite is a true sequel.
