@dylan35 I'm the same, racing games don't keep me interested for very long and I'm a month into playing this one. Love it. The negatives didn't jump out at me either.
My problem with this game, and heavy rain is that as much as I love how interactive EVERY element of the game is, there are certain aspects that just plain don't need to be. In Heavy Rain do you REALLY need to use motion controls to put a plate on a table carefully? In real life I do that without a thought, so why should something like that in a game become so in depth?
As far as Beyond two souls, it was definitely a step in the right direction, and I enjoyed the game a lot more than HR, but I still find the same issues with it.
@Jasurim @eva02langley FF8 is my favourite game. You're arguing with someone who asked a rhetorical question without intending on actually taking your answer seriously. Shadow of the Colossus, and Braid are two games that without question totally dominate anything from Quantic Dream as far as stories go. Braid especially.
1. Everyone knows quantic dream made heavy rain, you asked for a game that was comparable in story, you didn't specify that it had to be from a different studio. On that note, indigo prophecy is better than heavy rain by a long shot.
2. Deus Ex, Shadow of the colossus, Ico, BRAID***** all way better
3. As soon as I read that response I immediately cast your opinion aside and chalked you up to being an average-to-elitist, middle-aged gamer.
@aiat_gamer Of course it's not a direct side-by-side comparison. It's an example of how one company who essentially released the same product year-after-year to acclaim, and high sales attempted to switch up what they had to appeal to their customers. It failed miserably, and people wanted the old product back.
I know you understand what I'm trying to say, and you're just clinging on for the last word, but you've already been proven wrong. You can leave now.
@aiat_gamer @TarkatanWarrior Actually it's a perfect analogy given the discussion, but I wouldn't expect someone like you to catch on. It's okay. Take a seat, someone will explain it to you shortly.
Oh, and for everyone saying "LOOK AT BF4'S USER RATING COMPARED TO COD" Go read some of the user reviews for it. Just a bunch of idiots misspelling three letter words, stumbling over their own sentences. Probably think their copy of the game is broken because their TV is off while they're trying to play it. I'll pass on giving a f about user reviews, and play the game for myself.
