They've lost it for awhile now but FFXIII confirmed that Mitsuno was the only design talent they had left before he quit. FFXIII is the first legitimately terrible Final Fantasy game SE has ever released. The level design is awful, the story is, not only terrible, but poorly told, and the battle system is a boring piece of automated tripe. XIII will probably be the last Final Fantasy game I buy until they hire some people who know how to design a game.

I think Nintendo's hold on me may finally be broken because I'm...completely not interested in this. The motion controls are a turn-off for me and the cel-shading in this does nothing for me despite thinking Wind Waker is one of the most beautiful games ever made. I'll hold out until I see what the main mechanic is but this may be the first console Zelda I have no interest in buying.

I've always disliked the choice simply because it always diluted the experience for me. I'd rather developers just tell a focused story rather than giving me half-assed choices here and there.
