@buccomatic True. I already have TESV for my 360 and PC but I really prefer to have the DLC on my PC because of the mods. I'll probably wait, unless I get really bored or it turns out to really be great.
@lotusclown It is, but unfortunately about 30 days after it comes out for the 360. Not sure why they don't offer it earlier for PS3 or even why they don't offer the beta test for PS3 (or PC), but it will be available for the PS3. Just not as early. My guess is MS has some sort of "we get it first"exclusivity deal with Bethesda on this. Go figure.
Anytime now, we'll start seeing Edward & Bella from Twilight mods somehow tying into this. I can see it coming like an Amtrak barreling 100 mph and my ankle is caught on the track.
Ouch! As if things weren't awkward enough between MS & Motorola. Google & MS's relationship is just as bad. I'd just read about that on "Google news" right after that last post. This thing may get weird, but I still think it'll get settled, somehow out of court.
@rarson Right on! Regardless of whether you're a PC, PS3, 360 or Nintendo fan, gamers should be concerned. This has the potential to affect a lot of aspects. Game development, pricing, etc.
@Killer6b9 Good point. It would be a risky investment. Only reason i could think that would make it worthwhile is maybe taking over the phones and trying to revive the company somehow. MS probably has enough funds to buy out Sony and/or Nintendo as well, but that wouldn't be good either.
I'm thinking this probably won't hurt MS too bad, and it won't be the end of the 360. This judge only recommended the ITC investigate. Regardless of whether one hates Xbox/PS3/PC etc., if this does blow up bigtime, it will hurt the entire gaming community across all platforms. On the other other hand, it still may give MS a little kick to accelerate the *720* development. Who knows?
