@shadowboy88 I can answer those to the best of my ability
SaGa- Japan only though the most recent entries were the DS remakes of the GB games (Better known as Final Fantasy Legend and its sequels)
Mana- Dead as far as I know it, thanks to Dawn of Mana flopping (though it feels more like a KH test bed game to me)
Front Mission- Techinically wrapped up (the main writer for the series had 5 be the finale), but that's no excuse to get the previously unreleased games released here.
@King9999 Correct, Square under Wada became increasingly focused on FF and KH to the exclusion of other Square series. It wasn't until recently that they tried to get some western developers to go for the western market pie.
That and FFXIII flopping were factors in that massive loss.
@Lost-to-Apathy @marcsmashing X-2 was a sign of decline, not so much death. Pretty minor compared to XIII-2. XII's sequels actually improved things (such as making Vaan more of a true main character/character of note) Even now it's not dead.... just in real sorry shape.
@JBStone1981 @franzito I think XII would be better if the original producer hadn't quit as there's signs that things were changed around mid-way with the new producer. Example the infamous scene with Vann goes about being Basch and not believing Ondore's lies? Originally Basch himself was meant to be in that scene (and likely had it play out less comically)
@Dradeeus Sakaguchi did similar when the movie flopped, though in hindsight, that might not have been the best choice (had he just continue running square and learning from his mistakes, things might have been different)
