@franzito @JustArtificial You expect better than FF7 fanboy newcomers? I Doubt most are even aware of the exact issues plaguing Square and why an FF7 remake wouldn't be the cure all they think it would be.
Sure it'd make money, but then what? They don't have an answer to that.
@pakhair @StriderTuna @franzito I can't put my finger on it, but it's not as unpolished as a typical SaGa game. If I had to say, the sense of magic to soften then physical to damage seems a bit forced at times, but it could be just my classic thinking conflicting with this.
One thing they should have done is made the details clearer (not sure if most players are aware of passive boosts a role gives to their allies)
@franzito @pakhair It had promise though it should have been polished up before getting put into an FF if at all. (It'd have been perfect for some niche offering)
Though I don't find infinite MP to be a flaw as magic is just an alternate way of attacking, not a nuke of any sort.
@pakhair @StriderTuna @Lost-to-Apathy @marcsmashing If a FF's game's plot threatens aneurisms, then it's not a good FF game. And that's not including the other issues.
@bhmg @shadowboy88 @Marymoon22 Xenogears? The staff behind that left Square for namco... where they didn't have much better luck (Xenosaga got cut short more or less)
