There will always be what Christians call "sin," probably even in their Heaven, if it exists. If everyone sins in Heaven, then the word loses its meaning, does it not? Therefore, there is no sin in heaven, per se.

I see that a few of you seem to believe in Creationism. What's the basis for your belief?

My views used to change drastically at numerous times as well. Heck, a couple years ago I believed in God, was a philanthropist, believed that democratic socialism was the best gov't, and was thinking about getting baptized in a church.

Evolution is a fact. That's all there is to it. Christians can argue on the behalf of Creationism all they want; hell, they can even make everyone else in the world believe them. It still doesn't change the fact that evolution was real. Just like how the Earth always revolved around the Sun, even before we knew it did.

I have nothing motivating my free will except my personal interests. For example, in order to buy expensive things, I work at a good paying job. I don't have to do it, but I want to.

[QUOTE="Genetic_Code"]I think it's about the same; maybe a little better or worse. Could you make the "a" more visible? Also, what is that symbol? Our current banner has it and I'm just wondering.7guns

If I try to make it any more visible it will turn white and won't blend in at all. It will actually look ugly!:(

I chose that symbol because it's already on the current banner. Actually it is one of many atheist symbols out there.

Yup, that's where I made the current banner from.

[QUOTE="Strategist1117"]Alright, forget what I was going to post, that should be our new banner. Good job, 7guns!7guns

Thanks to you and to everyone else, but please post your ones too. I think it's too early to decide.

Oh, it's fine, I was just going to post the current banner with Atheist changed to Atheism, so you know what I was going to post. That, and I don't really feel like uploading it to Imageshack.

Yeah, who doesn't like presents, cookies, and Christmas dinners? Even Japan has Christmas, and they're mostly Shinto or Buddhist!

I actually heard a theory in some History Channel documentary that he [Jesus] might have had a daughter named Sairah, who was moved to southern France because of the threat of the Romans. Can't remember what evidence they provided for it, but it's an interesting thought.

You know, that's a real problem nowadays. Anyone can start a Christian sect because they said God told them so and say they're right about theology. If any church has any credibility whatsoever, wouldn't it make sense that it would be the oldest ones, such as the Roman Catholics or the Orthodox churches?
