Hmmm, I don't know but that really looks like issues caused by the graphics card. Tried re-installing drivers, or maybe installed a previous ("dated") driver? Are you using Vista or XP?

I'm using Vista. I don't think it would be the graphics card though, the game's several years old and it runs newer games like Civ 4 and Sims 3 just fine.:?

Roll back your graphics card drivers to an earlier version. Also Enable forced software sound. Restart your computer then try running the game.

Thanks for the help, I'll try that.

Hey, I just got Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and it installed fine, everything's working great for a while, it runs perfectly most of the time. But once I get to Dantooine, the second planet you go to, the game has a habit of crashing when I leave the Jedi Temple for the first time. Weird lines show up in the sky and at some part before the crashing point grass floats sideways.

I have an Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family graphics card, and I have pics. Any help would be appreciated. Pics are in the spoilers.

Around the last picture is when I usually crash.

No they aren't. Buddhism simply calls for people to detach themselves from their desires to achieve Nirvana. Basically, all it says is to be benevolent, work hard, and to not care whether things go your way or not. Which I'm sure you'll agree is markedly different than nihilistic philosophies.

You'd rather we put confidence in man's work, than to trust solely in God's revelation to us?

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." - Psalm 18:8

I think the Truth should be taught. Full stop. My opinion of the Truth, however, differs considerably from most of the other views on here. :)

That's the thing, we don't know whether it's truth or not. If you end up teaching everyone your "Truth" and nothing else, then how are people able to make up their own minds about such things? Would you rather impose your will on others than let them decide on their own?

That certainly isn't Buddhism. Buddhism follows almost none of those tenets. Also, just because it follows those tenets doesn't mean a religion is pantheistic.

Buddhism is more an atheistic philosophy, really. Unless we're talking about Japanese Buddhism, in which it's more polytheistic.

It's entirely possible. He may have gone back to church life because his wife was Christian, or he may just be smarter than he looks, and joined the church to become more connected to the community and gain their trust while he molded his image in the Chicago political scene. There are a multitude of possible reasons.
