@padamkfire If you'd read GS's "about the rating system", it says that "8.0-8.5: Great; This range refers to great games that are excellent in almost every way and whose few setbacks probably aren't too important. We highly recommend games in the upper half of this range, since they tend to be good enough to provide an enjoyable experience to fans of the particular genre and to new players alike." After reading the review, I'd say that 8.5 sums up Borderlands 2 perfectly

@thereal-15-cent I played B1 singleplayer and loved every minute of it. Played it second time with friend on splitscreen and still loved it, but when there's 4 players it really gets a bit chaotic.

@padamkfire The score doesn't start out at 10, dumbass. They don't start with 10 and give minus points for bad things, it's the overall experience and not just the 10 - bad things.

@dkdk999 combat system is better than in DA:O, but that's about it. I haven't even bothered playing it through even once because especially in the second act it just gets boring.

@Zepthire95 @ApocaLeepse @Decessus Yeah, they could trick fans paying for this game, but what about in the future? If they don't give nearly what they deliver, no one will support Obsidian in the future. They have no reason not to give their all for this game, fans are making this possible, and if this succeeds and game is great, fans will definitely back up more of their future project.s

@Bowser05 @Tseng @Jarten @Incubus420 Why wouldn't it be as epic? The same writer as MGS series is making the story, PG is responsible for gameplay and making that story happen.

I've never really cared about MMO's. I tried WoW for the free month, didn't like it at all. Tried Tera for the free week, it was fun but quests were just so boring, just kill/fetch quests. Also tried lots of free 2 play MMO's, and Maple Story is the one I've played most, about 2 months after finally quitting it because it was just so goddamn boring. People always say that WoW gets really good at max lvl, but I just can't bother playing shitty game for tens of hours before reaching the high point, which probably isn't that great either. Star Wars ToR was also complete shit, they just didn't seem to do anything that great or even try to hook you in from the start.

GW2, from what I've seen and heard in the reviews like this one, seems like a fresh take on MMO's. Quests aren't that monotonous, you actually get interesting stuff in low levels, combat isn't just standing around and only based on your stats and so on. Angry Joe's review especially got me hyped, he even gave it 10/10. And no monthly fee!? Goddamn! Definitely getting this as soon as I get money :)

Broken Sword Shadow of the Templars is definitely the best P&C game I've played. As little kid i was just terrified of the clown in the beginning :D

I haven't played lot of P&C games in long time, last one was Monkey Island 2 Special Edition when it came out. But recently I bought Gemini Rue, Deponia and Resonance, they were on sale on gog.com, and also Walking Dead from Steam and just had to buy them, and they're just awesome, especially Walking Dead. Your choises seriously matter and as you get to know people it's harder and harder to make choises. Lots of replayability and characters are colorful and relatable.Deponia also is a great game, love the art style and especially the main character, Rufus, who reminds me a lot of Guybrush Threepwood. Shame that it just kind of stops, ending was disappointing but fortunately there's a sequel coming in November.

@starduke It's actually not just a quick time event, you need to point the cursor and click :) So yeah, it is a point and click game.
