@DeSchweppes NO! If you buy these, it gives the impression that you support these kind of games. DON'T! Developers need to step up their game, not bring this kind of mediocrity, or just plain s*it. They need to make these games better. Don't just be "well, it might not be that bad" even if it isn't "that bad" it still doesn't mean it's good, which they should be. No one benefits in the end if people buy these games. These kind of games will come more, because they think that you're ok with this mediocre shit.
@jack00 Because there are still some people who buy these games, why else would they still make movie license games, if no one bought them? Someone has to review these, inform people that these games suck ass and not to buy them. Developers and publishers need to stop making bad movie license games, no one benefits from these, not the publisher, developer, gamer, no one. And if people stop buying these, they either make these games better, or stop making these entirely. But someone still has to review these, to say not to buy them because there are people who just don't understand that movie license games suck.
7.5 means that it's a good game, what's there to complain about it? 7.5 isn't bad score, and why the hell should you people care? These reviews are more like direction giving than the absolute truth. If you love this game, you love it and give it a higher score, but Kevin just thought it's best to give it 7.5, which is not a bad score. Why does everyone always get mad if some reviewer didn't like the game as much as you did?
Bioware has promised their players, that their choises from ME 1 to 3 affect the story, characters and ending. What it does not affect is the ending, so if this kind of thing occurs, when people are promised something, especially in big franchise such as Mass EFfect, people want that developers keep their promises. If I buy a product from store, and it's not what I excpected, let's say something is faulty(like the ending they promised we can affect) of course I'm gonna want a new, fixed product that works and keeps their promise of what it is.
I think that in some point technology will be at it's height for a while, it may not be next generation with Wii U, new PS and new Xbox, but maybe the next after that, and I bet it'll be really hard to make console much better than previous one that it could be called new console, and not just minor add on with slightly better graphics. I bet technology with game consoles will stop for a while, and something like add-ons etc. like Kinect and PS move and also hardware upgrades will be coming more, so that it would feel fresh. I don't think any of these major companies will be dropping gaming completely, especially Nintendo. They always make up new ways to play games, and that is awesome thing, to try something new and not always play safe. They try new things with many of their games too, and it seems more hardcore games are coming out to Wii U, and considering how much more Wii has sold compared to 360 and PS3, with having almost no hardocre games, Wii U might sweep the carpet with new Xbox and PS easily :)
