@abHS4L88 Download NES and SNES emulators and download Castlevania 1, 3 and 4(not 2, it sucks ass). I think those're the best of them all. And if you have Xbox 360 buy Symphony of the Night from XBLA
I was pretty interested in the Blacklight prize, the game itself is good and been playing it for a while and would be nice to at least have even minor chance to win the prize, until I read the rules and goddamn competition doesn't apply to Europe, except United Kingdom.
@Skysscreams And people who show these games at cons etc. have been playing it for a while so that they can show it properly, would it be fun if they'd die all the time and then they'd have no time to show off the mechanics of the game.
I seriously hope this is real, EA is the shittiest company nowadays, they've just made so much bad choises with the games they publish. CD Projekt RED should buy EA, they'd make it right. CDPR knows how to make a game and know how to publish and distripute it so that people get excited about it. None of that day 1 DLC or online pass bullshit. CD Projekt even gave us massive free update on Withcer 2 for free. And what has EA done? Gave us couple maps and I think guns for free to ME3. Oh joy(I can feel my soul slipping away)
@zoeyleft Then you should play Last Story if you already haven't. I think it was released yesterday in USA, about half a year ago in EU. It's definitely one of the best games to come out this generation and it has an FF feel to it.
@vicsrealms How could've IX damaged it, it sold really well, as did X, and XI(at least in japan) and so did XII and XIII, and if they sell, it's good from corporate stand point. All have been really well received games, but XIV was just a disaster from the start.
@Reuwsaat I'd hope they'd make like not so many quests, because most of them are still going to be fetch/kill/collect quests, but instead make fewer grander adventures, like pack in 5 games into one. Let's say 5 games about the size of FFXII, no pointless fetch/kill/collect quests, no one likes them and they're in every fucking MMORPG and those're what make me almost always quit all MMO's I play. But I didn't quit playing XII, and that's because there was sense of grand adventure, vast world to be explored, interesting story and quests came naturally in your way as you went onwards in the main story, no pointless grinding, no cardboard characters that just explain what you need to kill next or do some other monotonous task you've done million times. People always say, that MMO's get much better when you reach max level, but I just can't play hours and hours of boring shit before it.
@shadow580 Everything can be compared because even though other is MMORPG and other single player RPG, they still have things that almost all games have like story and gameplay, how fun is it to play it, overall experience, which stuck to you more etc. There are many things you can compare even if games you're comparing are first Super Mario Bros. and FF XIV
