@Icepick_Trotter Thankfully there was a second player in Sony that took a different approach. But with only two competitors in the industry, we teeter on the edge of monopoly. I wish Nintendo would get their act together and step into the ring again.
@SavoyPrime According to him and so many others, consumers simply don't understand how Microsoft's original policies benefit them. Another case of the industry believing its customers are simple-minded children.

Whining about how difficult it is to come up with a Smash Bros roster and how no one understands is juvenile and petulant when there are a great many people who do their chosen jobs - no matter how hard - without complaining to their clientele.

He's got a job that many would kill for, and he complains that it's so stressful coming up with a Smash Bros roster? Is he (and you) so out of touch to not realize how much more difficult and stressful so many other jobs are? Shall we shed a tear for him?
His assumption that everyone plays games they don't like is a little odd. I play the games I do like and don't play the games I don't like. I'd assume it's the same for most people.
