Looks impressive. I can't wait to see some real benchies from Anandtech and other reviewers. On a side note, I really, really hate those charts that start at 60% instead of 100% and dont actually give us any FPS.

Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving when a lot of store put on normally large sales and you can find some really great deals. Cyber Monday is the following Monday when a lot of e-tailers put on some good sales. Its primarily a US thing as far as I know. I'm definitely going to be watching for some good deals on Friday. Do some research and find some sites that show really good deals. I can tell you that Ben's Bargains and Slick Deals are two good sites for that. There also should be a Black Friday site dedicated to showing the sales and many times showing those magazine ads that stores like Target, Best Buy, etc, early. Some googling should prove fruitful.

Restart, make sure you're still connected to the Internet. If all else fails, re-install.

He's posting on an online forum isn't he? Make sure that steam.exe isnt still running. Some times processes hang and you have to end them manually.

Nascar in GT5 is probably going to be much better than EA's shoddy work anyway.

Why no PC option? If I buy it, it'll be for PC.

I love my 900 and the 1200, but my next case is probably going to be the CM HAF 932. They are all awesome cases.

I was actually considering buying that board and have been looking at reviews on newegg. Apparently it doesn't support it by default but all you have to do is go into the bios and select the appropriate multiplier for ram. Seems to be a really simple fix.

I'm thinking of getting this to replace my 300.

clyde46

I'm unfamiliar with that case. What is it? Looks pretty darn decent.

Personally, I would've waited until the new cards from nVidia and ATI release, but as long as you didn't upgrade from anything better than an 8800 GT for HD3870, or similar cards then thats a fine upgrade. I wouldn't worry about it much.
