I hope M$ puts to rest this pre-owned situation AND the connection-every-24-hours at E3. I'm not too impressed with this shady business.
We all know that Sony must be learning from all this and will do the opposite (no pre-owned game reactivation fee and no mandatory internet connection every 24 hours). If they do this, I'll probably go with a PS4, for sure... even though I like the M$ controllers more.
@Danny_KickAzz Bad games are what is killing developers and publishers
They can't double or triple charge for used software. Once I buy a new game, it's mine. I own it. If I want to sell it to somebody then that is my decision and if whoever I sell it to decides to sell it (their owned game) to somebody else, that is their decision. They can't charge again for a used item.
I get that the game studio owns the intellectual property of the software itself, but its still my property (the physical disc) and we should be allowed to buy and sell those discs without interference. And for the record, I do buy new games on release day a lot, but I also purchase used games, as well.
@Danny_KickAzz ROFL! Yeah, I was grumpy about the non-backwards compatibility... It's just a nice feature to have, especially in the beginning when the console is new because there are barely any games for it and its rotten to have to play your old console after you buy a new one! LOL
I've been thinking about switching to Playstation for a couple of years now. That's the real reason I'll probably go with a PS4.
@sergiodoom YUP! I don't care about any of those features they showed at all. I can't stand sports, don't watch TV, don't care about Skype, etc... I'll play my 360 until PS4 comes out.
Edit: I'll stay away from sports games on PS4 too... LOL
