@welterdude I think you confuse the use of reference points for nostalgia. The way he refers to GTA IV is only reasonable given that this is the next installment in the series.

@TheLeftHandDoom Well, considering the turd you just puked out I would say that you have an ability to operate a computer that far exceeds your intellect. That also explains how you see things in such simple terms. Your review of this review makes you look pathetic.

@SauhlGood @SapientShell I see your point, but I simply disagree. Since video games have become a part of our culture they must be judged as such. Therefore I think that questions about gender roles and sexism absolutely belong in a video game review. That is beyond politics; its how we interact with, and value eachother as human beings. Calling it poltics is, quite francly, a bit naive. And the portrayal of reality argument is exactly whats wrong with our culture in the first place. Portraying a bad reality is prepetuating that very reality. Regardless of why people come here, there is an inherent human responsibility to be considered.

You have your opinion, and that is by all means fine. I just think its a shame that you and so many others share that opinion.

The problem is that very few have a working knowledge of what the gender roles and their accompanying sexism does to our society. They are a big flaw in our culture. And since video games are a part of our culture, not criticising them for their culturally detrimental attributes will only hinder their development, as well as our own.

Its simply not good enough to call "Its just a game!" or "Its GTA, what did you expect". I dont know about you guys, but I don't play GTA for the misogyny, and if you do you need professional help at this point. Even if you think Carolyn over-stepped her bounds as a reviewer, the fact still remains that a lot of people attacked her personally because of it, and thats the problem. That is not an equal reaction, no matter how you try to justify it.

Haven't thought about this until now: Why are they setting up to fight eachother? They all seem to be against the imperials. It would make much more sense if they where a party that breifly split up for tactical reasons, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Always thought the female elf was with the imperials until I now noticed that she was part of the attackforce against that bastion. Cool, but so damn wierd.

@jcspeed Why do you even bother to watch reviews you seem to know are fixed in the not paid = bad score and paid = good score alternatives? It just doesn't make any sense that you put any effort into this if you know the outcome is fixed either way. The fact that you're still a member is mind-boggling.
