Alpha Protocol was a great game. Too bad it did not get enough sales to have a sequel. You could really feel like James Bond while playing it. I think many people just didn't 'get' it. It was an RPG first, shooter second, stealth game third.
Software, including games, should belong to the customer once bought. Indie devs are doing it right for the games, just like Richard Stallman did for operating systems nearly 30 years ago. Today Linux is as widespread as Windows, if not more. More and more people are using dual boot. Sooner or later, oppressive game publishers, will go down. The era of the indie dev is on now, and it's only going to get better.
