I need help with answering some questions on what game should I get (the first two listed, would really help knowing within the next 24 hours)

By the way, all of these are DS games.

1) Golden Compass - Would this game be good if someone likes Hotel Dusk and Trace Memory? What's it mainly about?

2) Arctic Tale - Would this game be good if someone likes Lost in Blue 1 & 2? What's the goal of the game?

Judging by #1 and #2, which one is better?

3) What is "The Settlers" about? Is there a lot of collecting food, hunting, mining for gold, and getting wood? Do you get to use cool powers like in Age of Mythology (for PC) and create your own maps? Would it be recommended for someone who likes Age of Empires II (PC), Age of Mythology (PC), and Runescape (PC)?

4) I've heard that Age of Empires for DS isn't that great as it is on the PC. For instance, you can't collect wood/stone. Is there also limited things in food on the DS (like, deer, boars, cherry bushes, farms, fishing) and craeting scenarios (like snowy/leaving areas)?

thanks :-)

Its actually called Dementium or something.

The Doom 3 I saw, was some slogan saying "This is where Silent Hill meets Doom 3."

Thanks anway, though. :-)

I saw this DS game yesterday that looked interesting but forgot the title. The cover was sort of a darkish red brown and all I can remember was that in the description it said something like "Doom 3".

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Okay, a few more things....

A) I can't wait and show this to the guy who set up my laptop, telling me I've got to grow out of video games (well, I am 26, but still I'm not the game geek who spends +6 hours a day in video games (although sometimes I spend that much time with movies)).

B) Now that I know a EU game will work in my DS, I have an addition question. I just downloaded/updated my Action Replay and downloaded codes for the EU games Pirates of the Caribean (both Dead Man's Chest and World's End), Hotel Dusk 215, and Lost in Blue 2. But I have the US games of those. Will the EU codes work for the US game versions or not (or will it if attempted to use, cuase harm to DS and/or games and/or Action Replay)

Are the video games region encoded just like DVDs, or could I buy a EU game and play it here in the US with no problem.
