Awesome, thanks a lot to the both of you, really appreciate the help. Just to clarify though, will a single gtx 460 outperform 8800's in sli? I can't afford to get two at the moment, but maybe after classes start up again I can. Thanks again, appreciate the replies.

Hello everyone! So not too long ago one of my two video cards died on me. As of now, my specs are an Intel Core Duo E6850 @ 3 GHz, 4 GB of ram, and an NVidia 8800 GT, and the monitor I'm using runs at 1920x1200. With all the new games coming out soon, including Mafia 2, Dragon Age 2, and Final Fantasy XIV Online, I'm looking to either replace the 8800 GT that died and go back to running SLi, or get a new video card that can out perform both of those. I'm not insanely computer literate, I had a great deal of help building this computer from a friend, but he isn't in the position to help me out at the moment, so I ask, what would be my best decision to go with? I'm certain buying the 8800 GT would be the most cost efficient, but if a much better card is available and not that much more expensive, then I'd gladly do that instead. Note I am partial to NVidia, as I've always had cards by them and like the interface, as well as the physx and such. And finally, would the video card be the best idea? Or would upgrading something else before hand be the wiser choice? Thank you very much for any and all assistance that can be offered, it is much appreciated.

Hello all. I'm a big fan of racers, and I'm looking for a solid street racer. Granted I love Forza 3, and the Blur demo is wicked fun, I really want a street racer, with shortcuts, traffic, customization, etc. More focus on tuners and such as opposed to exotics. I noticed Need for Speed Undercover went up on Games on Demand today, and Midnight Club LA is on there as well. Between these, and any other suggestions you can offer, which do you think is the best overall purchase? Not too worried about multiplayer, I've always been more attracted to the single player side of racers. Thankyou very much for any help that can be offered, it's greatly appreciated.

Hello, just recently one of my video cards shot and is now useless. I was running SLi with Nvidia 8800 GT's. So at the moment, I'm just running a single 8800, and it's working fine, but I want to either A. replace the shot one and go back to running SLi, or B. get a single video card that can outperform both. Now I don't know loads about video cards, so I'd really appreciate anyones opinions on which option you'd find better. I'd really prefer not to peak $400, as the next few months will be a bit tight financially, so anything below that is great. Thanks for any and all assistance that can be offered.

Boostud, I highly doubt this will be anything even close to what the Wii is. I have a Wii as well, and Natal blows it out of the water, judging by what we saw at E3.

I laughed when he made the reference to Nintendo as well, talking about the scripted, shaking gestures.

But on topic, do I want it to be a standard? No. Some games are just made for a controller. Would I like it to be compatible with all or most of the future releases? Definitely. I will admit there have been many times where my friends and I have talked about playing Call of Duty 4 or UFC in a virtual reality like manner. It'd be great fun.

Yea after playing more of the RF:G mp demo, I'm sold. Looks like I'll be getting that along with Prototype and Call of Juarez. Amazing how fast paychecks disappear haha.

Not only do we have E3, but theres5 great titles that come to mind, with another 4 that also seem to be quite popular. So what are you looking forward to most at E3? And which of the titles are you going to purchase?

Quick notes on big releases in June-

Red Faction Guerrila - June 2nd

Fuel - June 2nd

Prototype - June 9th

GhostBusters - June 16th

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits - June 16th

Overlord 2 - June 23rd

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - June 23rd

Fight Night: Round 4 - June 29th

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood- June 30th

I'm most definitely getting Prototype and Call of Juarez, and am debating right now between Red Faction and Ghostbusters. The others will have to wait. E3 wise I can't wait for more coverage on Brutal Legend! Game looks awesome.

do you mean when one red ringed, you went out and bought a new one, and continuosuly did that, oryour 360red ringed, you sent it, and just kept repeating? I'm just curious because I see some people say I'm on my 6th 360, 9th 360, etc. And I'm here wondering am I really lucky? Or are you very unlucky? I had my first 360 from launch last up to about a month before the Elite released then it ringed, I sent it in, got it back, sold it and bought an Elite on launch day. That Elite just red ringed about a month ago. So I'm on my 3rd since launch. I'm not trying to start a war and bash the console, I love my 360 and it gets the majority of my playing time and multiplatform games I buy. I'm just curious as to see the amount of people on their 2nd or 3rd as opposed to sneaking up on double digits.

Why is everyone hoping for it to be exclusive? You'll get to play it regardless. More money for the devs = more of a chance for sequels.
