Hey guys,

As you'll already know (if reading this), when GameSpot re-designed their website unions were lost for almost 2 months. For us, this was right at the climax of the 2013 Formula One Season.

It means that, now, we've no activity here, which is a real shame given for over 8 years we were the leading and - for the majority of the time - sole home for Formula One on this website.

We have continued at our new home, which has been around since August - however there are only eleven of us there currently, and I know there's still plenty more of you that still visit the F1PU that haven't yet made the jump.

Follow this link here - you'll need to sign up and Admin approval will be required so you can start getting involved (so apologies if that takes a while, hopefully no more than a day or two at most - give me a nudge on here if needs be!). Let's not lose the home that so many of us have made friends at.

Well... we're sorta there. Seems a lot of the old topics don't work still (can only find the odd one here or there which seem to work), so the sooner they can start working the better.

So... have any Unions been transferred over to forums on here yet? At least if they have I can see if ours made it over or not. It's causing a lot of headaches and I just want to know already!

This does seem odd - were Union Leaders contacted at all? Seems a few people here saying there wasn't any, and our Union doesn't seem to have made it here either (Our leader was fully aware we wanted to keep our Union here) - so are they coming back? Or have we lost them? It's been a few days now and I'm a little concerned...

HULKENBERG GIVES LOTUS UNTIL END OF MONTH TO MAKE DECISION

Nico Hulkenberg has told Lotus he wants his Formula 1 future sorted out by the end of this month.

His recent impressive form has made him hot property on the driver market - and several teams including Lotus and Force India are eager to lure him away from Sauber for next season.

Although it is understood that Lotus is his preferred option, the deal hinges on whether or not the Enstone-based team can pull off an investment deal with potential new partners Infinity Racing.

Hulkenberg says he is happy to wait for now, but after his experience in 2010 when he was dropped by Williams at the end of the season he does not want to risk being left out in the cold if Lotus cannot get its finances in shape.

"I want to have some certainty about my future and not in November," he said, when asked by AUTOSPORT about the timeframe for him to make a decision on 2014.

"It needs to be at the end of the month, for sure. There is obviously a certain cut off point.

"I have experienced falling over the back in 2010, and I am not going to risk doing that again."

Although a move to Lotus would mean that Hulkenberg has driven for four teams in five years, he insists there are no concerns his changes point to a lack of loyalty.

"It is not a worry," he said. "It is maybe not ideal but there is a positive side as well because you can take all the good things forward.

"Obviously in terms of consistency and settling in somewhere it is not the best, but movements happen for a reason and it is what it is, so there is no point questioning it for me."
