Thanks to every one for coming out. I had to download an update for the game. It reached about 50% then my connection crashed so I had to start all over again. I actually joined a match finally as every one was leaving. OH well. I think the next game night might be Planetside 2 so be on the lookout for that.
I personally think it's way too early to make a definitive decision on my console of choice. But, on first impression I would say that the PS4 interests me more. Post this question again after E3 lol

Well if it was BL2 I probably would have said so, also probably wouldn't have used box art from the first one ;). So with that said, I will confirm that yes it is the first Borderlands, not Borderlands 2.
Ah, I didn't look at the picture on the home page of the union. Plus, I figured since there's a lot more people with Borderlands 2 that we'd be playing that game.
