At Last...OMG...JHC...Wow...Intense!

Highway Exit; 89% Complete; 32hrs 32mins Played; 111 Collectibles

How will I end up liking TLoU so much when I HATE the intense non-stop fighting.  Ellie sure got a great adrenalin rush finishing off Dave or wtf his name was--I guess that 'family's meat' haul is really going to take a hit.

Truly sad how realistic this sort of survival with no law and order is.  Will the game end with some real future hope or just the two of them in a peaceful camp for a few days of rest before they travel off adventuring/surviving again?  DON'T spoil it, I'm not there yet. :)

The Hunt; 81% Complete; Played 29hrs 15mins; 104 Collectibles

What a mess--I'm taking a break!  Saved game says its The Hunt but according to where I am I'm in Cabin Resort...its been one battle after another...hunters, infected, and now hunters again.  All the non-stop fighting is the part I don't enjoy.  Wish I knew when I could save and have the game restart at that point...  I'll just leave it in Pause for a while.  Now that Joel is 'healing' I figure he will come along at the last minute to kill off the remaining hunters just befor they get Ellie--sweet reunion?

Go Big Horns; 69% Complete; 23hrs 25mins+2hrs 3mins=25hrs 28mins Played; 82 Collectibles...

Seems like I will finish now before I hit 40 hours--that's okay, it isn't a slow race, it is an adventure with intense action.

I replayed Beyond The Wall to pickup a Pendant I knew I had missed and knew its location.  This was a mistake to do as that pendant was lost when I restored my most recent save game to continue my one-time through--single player game now at the Hydroelectric Dam.  Unfortunately the end results of this 'experiment' was starting the Played time over and discovering how many more pendants (around 7) I have missed.  Fortunately missing these sort of things in a game or missing achievements are not significant to my gaming style.  Obviously now to me TLoU is designed on purpose not to play through once and 'achieve' everything.

This is how i see your proposal for a movie adaptation.

Ow i just played a 15 jour game with an awesome atmposhphere and a great story so now i want to watch a 2 hour movie about it that will include none of the characters but all the cliché's of zombie movies that will make fans hate it.BlazeKingz

Closer to 40 hours for me as a middle projection.

Speaking of clichés...[thanks for letting me copy/paste the accent--this GS spell checker sucks]  Wondering if you can go up or down a stair well but then you see the desks and debris blocking passage?  That's a cliché for this game at least.  But what else can you do in multi-storied buildings besides blowing the stairs up or blocking them with debris--so convenient.  And it seems like every game I've ever played that has an elevator ride has at least one failure.

As of right now my Xbox 360 sits unplugged.  I hated Halo 4 and returned that game for a full refund.  Interesting that the PS3 bluray works great for Netflix.  Had to replace it in its second year when the bluray went bad--extended warranty at Best Buy experience was great!

Otherwise it is PC only for me too:

1. graphics

2. everything else but these darn exclusives.

3. trainers to avoid dying in some battles when you are slow to pick up what you are doing wrong.

4. mod ability in some games.

It will be interesting to see if I have to blow the bucks for a PS4 this Christmas--only reason will be exclusives I just have to play.

Funny thing now about the Xbox 360 is I use its wireless controller for all games that support it on the PC.

Let's face it.  They could do a great sequel off of this game or they could do something mediocre or they might do something that stinks.  Do you want to vote on which you'd prefer? [Interesting...I discovered you can edit or delete but now Emoticons don't work.]

One time through, collecting everything I can and searching and playing out everything I can single player only, I am on target to finishing TLoU in right around 40 hours.  I enjoy the scenery and poking around adventuring every time the game offers a moment--you can smell the dampness walking up the river in the rain to the dam.  I think wildflowers are out of place in Fall though and although the river rushed along its banks the actual water flow around various the dam structures needs a lot of graphic design work--very complicated I'm sure to make the river really look real.Ratsneve

Wow...the end of Suburbs was INTENSE...INTENSE!  I can't tell you how glad I was to reach the unexpected but grateful cut-scene.

So, Henry and Sam are 'gone' and it is Fall and wet at the start of the Hydroelectric Dam; 61% Complete; 23Hrs-25Mins; 73 Collectibles.

What could possibly happen next to this Joel and Ellie duo?  Next episode I'll start a new thread adding **Spoilers** in the title...  Here is why...

**Spoilers**

I just want to say that I was sorry to see Sam turn infected but I caught the cinematic where Henry gets infected so one pretty much knows the groups travels together would be short lived...  Just had to say.
