I think now is a great time to jump on board with the 3DS especially since there are a lot of Special Edition 3ds that keep coming out, not to mention the fact that the 3DS has a pretty solid library now :)

I like all sorts of games, and already have FE Awakening, and OoT remastered.

Hahaha xD. Funny that you say that, cuz that's literally the ONLY games I have on the 3DS at the moment :P. But pokemon is coming out next week, so if you're into that series you got that. Mario 3D Land is pretty good, Luigi's Mansion, Mairo and Luigi: Dream Team, pretty much grab all the Mario games :P

So for the last few weeks, I've heard an insane amount of hype over Pokemon X/Y. I'm 30 years old and I've never played a Pokemon game, but I am a huge RPG fan (as my currently playing list probably shows). I didn't play games much in jr high/high school when the series started and I always just chalked it up to be a kids series. Now seeing so many people on various forums, many in their 20s/30s/40s, so excited, I feel like I might be missing out. I don't really want to fork out for the money for it without knowing if I'd actually like it, so I figured I'd ask a few questions here.

I'm wondering if people who love the series can tell me why they love it and what's in it for a a 30 year old adult. Is it just a nostalgia thing for people who used to play it as a kid? Is the RPG aspect of the game good, or do most people just play for collecting/competitive multiplayer?

Nostalgia does play a huge role when getting these pokemon games, but honestly at the end of the day.... what makes Pokemon fun is just the idea and concept of adventure and capturing various monsters to become your personal war machines to defeat and conquer everyone in the world.... lol okay I may have over-exaggerated but it's a pretty awesome series man, and you should definitely at least give it a try :)

Im interested to hear which realistic Titles gamers would choose to boost the Wii u Library. Heres mine;

1. Pokemon Stadium/Snap

2. F-zero

3. StarFox

4. Diddykong racing

5. Banjo Kazooie

HD remake = Mario sunshine

Actually Pokemon Snap would be awesome as a remake... or even better, an actual sequel lol. They have soooo many different pokemon and regions that I seriously think that it could work :)
