Reading too much into it...plus, they are all still young kids in high school and I think they can hardly be expected to have completely figured out these sexuality issues.
I would have preferred to have the main character be Grey Fox as well. Exploring the back story of Frank Jaeger in a modern game would have been very interesting and original.
I know a lot of people like Raiden and that's fine - people are free to connect with any character they choose. However, I really have a hard time taking him seriously in any game. It always feels like he is a character of excess to me. In MGS2 it seems like they tried to use him to explore the 'human' side of people fighting in war....but it was so overdone. In MGS4 it seemed that they wanted to turn him into a total bad ass, but to me it seemed that they were trying very hard to make him that way instead of it being subtlety introduced as part of his character so he would just naturally appear that way.
@Cappuccin0 I like that idea. There are so many unexplored opportunities with the Star Wars universe, yet they put so much effort into making crappy lego games about the clone wars :/
