PS5 pre-orders at Wal-Mart didn't even last 10 seconds before being sold out.

I hate having to use Pokemon Pass for distributions. I would much rather they just give a code card. I don't think I had to use Pokemon Pass for any previous 3DS game distributions, so I'm not sure if I can even get the 4 codes I will need for having all 4 of the games the distribution is for.

@ricardol14Final Fantasy 9 was already remastered on PC and PS4, at least, since those versions were upgraded to HD

@streamlineL That isn't really something that can be done. Yes, they can order parts in advance at a lower cost, but they can't order parts that don't exist yet without having to invest in R&D for it, which is a lot more money than just buying the parts, normally by millions. They would be operating at more of a loss if they order future-tech now than later..:

@soliaired50Probably, but that isn't really a bad thing. PCs as they are have to share most of their resources with the rest of the system, hence why games require higher specs for better quality and performance. If they could cut that down to make a dedicated system for playing PC games on, they could achieve better results with lower specs. A dedicated system will ALWAYS perform better than a multi-purpose system of similar specs.:

It would be nice to see more competition, but exclusives definitely shouldn't be considered, as the CEO basically said according to the article. However, I don't see this being competitively priced if what he expects it to do does happen, such as VR at 120FPS and the equivalent of a very fast PC 2 years from now. For a PC, that would likely cost around $1000-1500 USD, compared to the maximum price of a competitively priced console at $500 or less. There is a reason why game consoles aren't made with cutting-edge technology and that is the cost. Getting stuff custom-made just for the console makes it cost even more, as well, hence having to use lower-spec hardware as a base.

@barcaazul: Of what I remember, NA is Tuesday and EU is Friday. Either way, they always update at the first major update time in your region for the week. I just checked the EU blog and they claim Tuesday January 3, but that is actually Thursday. Also, after checking their listing on the EU PSN for the current games, the times are a mess since it reads from April last year to March 1 this year. It is unusual that the article doesn't clearly state that it is for NA, but the "PS Plus Page" link in the article leads to Playstation's en-us address, which is NA. Here is the link from the EU Playstation Blog about them coming on January 3:

@barcaazulYou likely aren't in NA, then. This article is exclusively for NA.

Its funny how all the news sites are not reporting this correctly. The fact is, Sony/Funimation did NOT decide to just cut off the partnership, they are just not renewing it, which is a major difference. This is likely so that they can do things their own way without CR and for CR to partner with other companies like HiDive.
