@jenovaschilld: "Pass on this, at one time multiplaying 4 computers on a hub with my crew was one of the best times growing up..... at college age"

Really? That was you growing up, are you still doing that today? The world is very different. Gosh I hadn't had a LAN party since StarCraft in 2005! 👀

On his Instagram there are people who give him lots of love 💖💖💖... but why? I would dare ask these people if they'd date a person like him? There's "go you be you" which sounds positive, warm, welcoming, and nice, and then there's "go be stupid". I cannot tell you where that line is, but I can say this person crossed it... multiple times. 🤣

@twztid13: Right, but I see in the 'con' section that they are not very good. Like why would I play what may be an amazing game with a lackluster control scheme?

I mean, I may try it, but it's not a $60 day one purchase from me. I'll get it on sale for under 20 dollars. Oh wait, Nintendo never does sales like that on their mainline games.

So again, it's still a pass for me.

Ever since Nintendo went to these motion control styled games, I have been largely unable to play them. I have a disability and I feel Nintendo doesn't care about those who have one.

I want to play this. I want to feel the motion controls, but the stability for me just isn't there.

It was a pass for me then; it's still a pass for me now.

I'm curious as to why this article exists? I have seen hundreds of indie games and they don't get full blown articles on them. Was this paid for as a form of advertisement?

I'm just curious, because if you guys wanted to write an article on what an indie game is up to, and it's neat releases, I can easily give you a list of a hundred actively developed indie games that you can write articles exactly like this about, many which have released and releasing DLC.

There's a certain mystique to getting a shoutout on the front page of a gaming news site. Not every indie game will afford that luxury. So obviously the developers of this game must have something to do with GameSpot.

I mean even that video is just north of 700 views. So it's no 'bump' but what gives? Why was this article written? There's obviously no algorithmic 'interest' to have this on the site. It's not the magnitude of Minecraft or Among Us, or even Fall Guys. It's, in a word, not more newsworthy than this:

Arena shooter Boomerang X is out now on Steam for $19.99! Check out the dizzying array of arena shooting glory! Fast-paced? Bullet-time? We got you covered!!1!1!

The only difference? I made a comment, you made a news article.

Edit: The game "What the Golf" is also an article on it... These are switch games... I see a history of this. Is there something going on here??? Odd pattern w/ Switch Indie games and getting featured as News on this site.

@ratchet200: I work in software, I'm not sure if games are different, but I agree with @wahsobe in that a couple developers could tackle the leak. My boss used to call for triage events when he'd put 12 people to fix a high level bug, and I guarantee you. ten of us just moved on quickly once one or two guys got an idea of how to fix it. Ever heard of the expression, "Too many cooks"?

However, you'd need guys which are knowledgeable in server-side DDoS protection. You couldn't just stick any developer on it.

I mean, if Respawn put a couple rookies on it, there's no telling if and if it'll ever get resolved. They put a key server/backend engineer on it, and they should have a report and strategy for fixing it by close of a single business day.

I think if anything, budget (virtually none), knowledge (getting the right guy on it), and time (virtually none) constrain this process.

Why can't it just be a sci-fi show?

Oooh! How about this? Lord of the Rings but on the backdrop of class inequality! Right!?

@Roman217: Right? Where's our Buddhist representation? Or Uighur representation? I mean that last group is currently going thru a government sanctioned genocide in China. We should raise awareness of other groups of people. Diversity people!!
