@GalvatronType_R: I think you miss the point entirely if you go into a FF movie wanting good writing and characters.

The benchmarks I use for action films are greatly different than the ones I'd use for a drama.

I think it's sad this NFT thing is now going to erase history. Sure, we could still find that meme in the wild, but the original version on YT will be gone.

Honestly, this is strange. It's the opposite of what the internet was designed for, and in a way it flies in the face of conventional futurism and the concept of a 'singularity'.

Starfield releases this year = we have another Cyberpunk
Starfield releases next year = we have another fallout 3
Starfield never releases = we have the first bug free Bethesda game.

I've made the switch to the new Chromium Edge browser, and I've liked it. It's functionally identical to Chrome, so I cannot see it as a step down like IE.

On an odd note, my bank website doesn't like it though and will want me to use Chrome or Firefox. I guess some companies IT departments cannot tell that Edge is chromium based... sigh...

I don't understand this, just 15minutes? What a waste. At least a video game demo gives you the ability to feel the gameplay. For a movie, it just ruins any immersion... 15 minutes later and then done and you want more, but then you'll have to re-watch that when the movie finally comes out. I don't understand this at all.

If I want a taste for the movie, I'd rather really just watch a trailer.

@megagood2345: There exist people like me that prefer ME1's combat since it wasn't trying to be a shooter, but more of an 'RPG... with guns', and for a fan of RPGs I really endeared myself to that games approach to combat. Don't get me wrong, I like ME2/3, but I find it sad that they are recommended more based on the fact people find the combat system 'better' when coming from an FPS background. I don't think that's entirely fair to the RPG genre.

@mrbojangles25: I agree, but I liked ME1for it's combat and systems. It was more table-topy and less video-gamey. Like there was a DNA in there from their DnD days. I liked pausing combat, taking cover and using albeit 'clunky' systems to maneuver the battlefield. It's not supposed to be a shooter like how ME2 and 3 went for.

I guess ME1 is an "RPG... with guns" whereas ME2 and ME3 are "shooters come RPGs", the emphasis changed.

@Sushiglutton: I hear you, ever since hearing about a potential re-release of the trilogy I have been preventing myself from doing a playthrough, so it's been 3/4 years now since I've played a mass effect game last. That means I'll get to enjoy this one a bit more than if I were to have recently played thru it.

@esqueejy: The elevator rides are fast now and skippable. The mako likely handles better (but still, it was tedious searching planets for minerals, ugh!), and if you know where to go, you can rather quickly get through the slow parts.

I hate requests in the game! After making several great pictures, I then go back and realize I had already completed the requests (unknowingly) and then I loathe to try it again. (Requests unlock after a run through, you may have unknowingly fulfilled them before reading them). The on rails aspect makes it hard to have to do these requests since you're looping through the damn course again and again and again, and menuing, and all the slow loading screens. Ugh...
