The Wachowski sisters are a creative force, for sure. Hoping the best of Matrix 4.

Wait, so Scarlet Johansson has a point! So, as we all know by now, she inks a deal saying she gets a % of theatrical release money, and when they release Black Widow it goes to theater... and Disney+, but without her knowing of the latter. Disney+ steals viewership from theaters and hurts her bottom line.

Meanwhile Ryan Reynolds gets to keep his lion's share by going straight to theater and not also Disney+? Un-freaking-believable.

While I like Ryan Reynolds and his movies, I feel they did Scarlet an incredible injustice here.

@JakMar12: Exactly, why don't they just storyboard from the games like Marvel storyboarded from the comics for the MCU?

Older video game movies also adapted really crude games, comparatively speaking. Modern games, like the latest God of War are almost filmic in their own right. Should be easy to adapt to the screen.

I cannot see why it must be so hard. 🤷‍♂️

@jenovaschilld: Okay, I am impressed! A lot of friends of mine talk about LAN parties, but they don't really do them. Some have moved across the country and stuff, so it's not really all that possible.

Still I think your demographic is pretty small, even if impressive.

@Tiwill44: Integrity? I think Blizzard will see all of 3000 loud voices swear off Blizzard meanwhile 12,397,000 others buy the game. I don't see how having TCP/IP (in 2021) would make a lick of difference for the vast majority of players in 2021.

In fact since it's also coming to the switch, well dang, that's a huge market! What a success to have portable D2.

The only change I'd make is in the first scene of act 1, Marius should stop making direct eye contact to the wanderer. I liked it better when he spoke away from the man, and could not lay eyes on him.

(This is in response to all those gamers that had issue with Blizzard pulling this):

Ugh. I am a 30yo gamer. I remember LAN parties, I remember connecting to others with TCP/IP or even UDP connections. "I remember" however being the key word. I have not done this in ages.

I don't understand why this is a big deal for you 2021 gamers. I feel even if you got your way, you'd likely not use the feature... Like yeah you like the idea you can still LAN like its 1999, but I know you wouldn't. Deep down, only a niche of MPers would ever use this feature, let alone really get to appreciate it.

Most of us in our 30s+ have lives, families, jobs, etc. I, for one, am looking more toward the console versions of D2, rather than having TCP/IP support. And quickly connecting via online servers. Yes, yes D3 was a shame. Again, 'was', it's far better now. In my mind what a god damn frivolous feature, and a big developmental headache to have to support and secure in 2021.

Jesus.

@NBKNAS: This!!! Yes! Everybody is saying "Well back in the day we did this..." As if they still do this today??? Nobody. I repeat. Nobody is doing old fashioned TCP/IP LAN these days like they "used to"...
