Medical professionals will tell you health insurance should be a right -- but on the same page the way Americans treat themselves needs to change. We have to stop going to the hospital for every little thing, and instead the local clinic needs to be home to the primary care provider as well as the first place Americans turn for their medical needs. The routine yearly/quarterly/monthly check-up needs to make a return as well.
If you want a look into American gun culture I would recommend this article by Adam Winkler of The Atlantic The Secret History of Guns
The Ku Klux Klan, Ronald Reagan, and, for most of its history, the NRA all worked to control guns. The Founding Fathers? They required gun ownership—and regulated it. And no group has more fiercely advocated the right to bear loaded weapons in public than the Black Panthers—the true pioneers of the modern pro-gun movement. In the battle over gun rights in America, both sides have distorted history and the law, and there’s no resolution in sight.
I agree with most of what you said except this its so predictable the setting and themes save it but the overall story is MCU level generic
I didn't expect Killmonger to kill Klaue, perhaps that was more apparent to everyone else, but not to me. I also thought the journey back to the 5th tribe in the mountains was phenomenal writing and plot development.
It is a superhero movie, so it does have typical cliches -- but I don't think a handful of cliches or superhero movie BS
like when the car is blown up with Shuri and Okoye fly through the air or just ride the chair basically ignoring physics and momentum
Black Panther is a great superhero movie, it is also a better movie. So well connected, and coherent. All the characters make sense and contribute to the plot. There is surprise and subversion. Ryan Coogler is a fantastic director, and Michael B. Jordan is still amazing.
Black Panther is also the first Marvel movie that I could see being nominated for the Best Original Score Oscar.
"Black Panther elevates superhero cinema to thrilling new heights while telling one of the MCU's most absorbing stories -- and introducing some of its most fully realized characters."
I don't think this is directly related to Trump (though lowering taxes in a time like this would seem counter intuitive).
This should just be the market acclimating to ridiculous growth, and as long as this stumble doesn't happen too quickly everything should be totally fine...just with the Fed acting more quickly to raise interest rates.
