I buy at least two games a week. I go to this store called Gameswap once a week and buy two or three random PS1 games. I spend at least $10 a week, but I just got a second job and all that money will be going towards collecting. How about you guys?Republican11

I used to buy 1-3 games a week. I had to stop when I lost my job but I hope to get back to that when I find a new job.

What's your Collection's Average Gamespot (review) Score? Estimated worth via Gamespot? Preferred platform?

Mine has actually gone up from 7.3 to 7.4.

My preferred Platform according to Gamespot is the PS2 at 154 games. Number fo total; Games at the moment is 1003.

Gamespot's estimated value of my collection: $20,049.97

So what's yours? When I get enough I'll crunch some numbers to give some estimates on the Union's average, review score, worth and other stuffs. I figured this would be a cool experiment.

GAMECAMILLER

My AVG rating is 7.9 with my preferred platform being my PC. Even if I had not sold many of my console games off it still would of been PC but not by such a huge margin.

[QUOTE="Andrn"]Guitar Hero III, Ninja Gaiden 2, Oblivion (as the fans yell "blasphemy!"). While Oblivion just wasn't my type of game, the other two were outclassed in my honest opinion, by games that were out at the time I bought them.guitarheroF22

actually i yell blasphemy at guitar hero 3, are you gay or something.

Rythem games are not everyones cup of tea. I play Rock Band with my nephews because they are around 10 but I would never buy it myself or even play with friends.

Before you purchase a game, how many reviews do you usually read on gamespot before purchasing? And also, after you get the game, do you read more reviews even then and watch gameplay videos AFTER you get the game? Thanks

JmanRBS

Do I read reviews ? Yes. Do I hold a lot of stock in them ? Not really. I hold more stock in playable demos.

Just wondering. A lot of people seem to be anal about wanting to get 100% completetion on games (every item, quest etc.). Now my question is, are you one of those people that could care less if you get 100% in a game or not? Very interested to hear your answers. And also, ever completed about 50% of a game like Castlevania lament of innocence by missing a TON of items? Thanks

JmanRBS

I believe if you beat it then you beat it. Getting 100% is nice but saying that anyone who didn't get 100% didn't beat a game is like telling someone who just won a Stanley Cup that because they won in 7 games and not 4 then they didn't win because they could of done better.

california...yeah n64 games were more expensive due to the cartridge...same with snes...i remember street fighter was like $70...contrast that with ps1 which had new games for $40

orion_52

By the time I had bought my PS1 the prices had dropped on N64 so I never noticed. That could be one reason the N64 got beat that gen.
