Not saying that Skyrim wouldn't perform slightly better if it was a 360 or PS3 exclusive. Just saying is that it's a ram demanding game, and no 7th gen console is known for it's flexibility on that aspect, especially the PS3.
Personaly, i think Bethesda did a fantastic job at making games like Fallout 3 or Skyrim possible on consoles with such hardware limitations. And, like i said, it's impossible for games this massive to be bug free. There are simply too many variables (dozens of missions, hundreds of NPCs, thousands of objects with their own physics, etc...).
@Seth_Defiler @PAL360 I always find funny those who criticize the bugs in Bethesda games! I still remember an idiot saying something like: 'If Skyrim was a PS3 exclusive, the graphics and the level of polish would be at Uncharted 3's level' lol This obviously comes from people who know nothing about programming, since they think that the process of development of an open world game, where hundreds of events occur dynamically, is the same as an on-rails game where everything is scripted.
Bethesda is one of the most ambitious programmers market. Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim are huge, complex and highly demanding, when it comes to hardware, especially ram. Comparing the level of polish from a game of this scale, to a linear game like a CoD an Uncharted or Gears of War is simply hilarious!
I'm very curious about the PS4 version of Planetside 2. Really hope it keeps the amount of players (2000 p continent) and handle those amazing physx particle effects.
I'm sure that this game will be awesome, but the fact it will also come to current gen consoles, kills some of my enthusiasm. A game this ambitious should be next gen only, in my opinion.
