I've rented quite a few movies over Live just to save some time and gas from driving down to the local vid rental store. It's a good service, it could probably be a little cheaper, but the quality is good and it's nice to be able to download a movie. The rental terms, however, suck in my opinion. After you play the movie once, you only have 24 hours to watch it again so you have to make sure that everyone who wants to see the movie too is there.

Don't like it very much either. The game gets pretty boring fast, but it does have a Lobster that can shoot HE rounds.

I would have to say Kane and Lynch. I got the impression it was going to have moments where you would have an intense shootout like in the movie Heat but was very disappointed with that game.

I'm currently running on Vista and am planning on not picking up Halo 2. While I thought Halo was an awesome FPS in general, I never really got into Halo 2. I've played through it on the Xbox but I don't see myself purchasing the same game again, especially after all this time, even though it would allow me to play it on PC. I am however looking forward to being able to play some X360 games on Vista and any future DX10 titles to come.

Ah, also, which has the better online community now, and which one WILL have the better online community in the futurenevereathim

Both have fairly strong online communities and I don't think BF2 will ever die out completely, people are still playing BF1942 - BF:V. As of now, there are loads of BF2 servers to pick and choose from, the same goes for BF2142. In terms of money value I'd go with the BF2: Deluxe edition since you'll be getting way more content than just buying BF2142. IMO BF2 feels alot better as an online shooter and the weapons are easier to shoot and alot stronger (AK101/47 FTW!). The Vehicles are alot easier to use in 2142 but in the end they're relatively the same (except the Attack Helo/Jet in 2142). So if you're looking for more maps/weapons/armies go with BF2: Deluxe.
