It would make a lot of sense...especially with the fact that I cannot see them making the ps4 bc with the ps3.

I can however see them making the ps4 bc with the ps2.

The problem is the Cell that is used to run the games. It is too damn complicated.

Logitech DFGT will give you the best wheel for the price.

The pedals are kind of cruddy, but it's a great sub $100 wheel.

The really nice wheels will cost as much as a PS3 itself, or even more.

I'm satisfied with the DFGT but I'm also not willing to pay >$400 for a gaming peripheral, but if someone were to give me a Thrustmaster T500, I wouldn't give it back.

This is my set up at my house.

I like your wooden table...my DFGT has a tv tray LOL....but back to OP.

If you are willing to spend some money you really should go for the G27. Those are around 230$ new. Which for a high end wheel is really REALLY cheap.

I would start old school with the wii and try FF IV, Super Mario RPG LotSS, and then maybe Final Fantasy X, XII, or Disgaea/FF Tactics

The PS1 jrpgs just never appealed to me although I am playing through a couple of them right now...more so focusing on most of my time in FF IX, but the 4 I mentioned above are great for starting out.

My friend has a retroduo (do a quick google search...I can't share a picture at the moment for whatever reason)

It works great but the only problem we have with it is that it doesn't like two player games when using an actual SNES controller. The player 2 port messes with the player 1 port or vice versa if and only if you have the retroduo brand controller and an actual SNES controller plugged in. The SNES controller is the one that can get messed with by the opposite.

Other than that it works perfectly fine so if you are an avid multiplayer classic gamer then you might want to look somewhere else or just adapt to retroduo's brand.

Single player no problems whatsoever with any controller.

Also the games fit in the retroduo really REALLY snuglike.

what a mess. I uploaded it on sega-16 and there the pictures showed up fin. what do I do?

bultje112

when you transfer them to your computer there should be a resize option on your photo viewer...after you tinkered with them there then I would upload them to the site.

And the reason why I would rather upload to this thread than that other active thread is that the guy that made that thread would put me to shame haha.

The boss that I had the trouble with the most was Seymour in those damned mountains...Yunalesca I think I lost a once or twice but got the hang of it and defeated her, and yes I'm not a grinder...I'm a story rusher. If that makes sense. I hate having to grind lol.

But after I beat the final boss I sank 170 more hours into the game to start the side quests and blitzeball.

I guess I have always played that way...and it does lead to some furiously challenging boss fights...but if it is story driven (Which FFX was) I have to complete the story first and the fastest above anything else.

mgs3 has several, particularly the fear and the end

shadow of the collosus must be mentioned... I like the 3rd and 5th one alot as well as many others

God of war 3 -poesidon is probably the most epic fight in any game ever.

king k rool from dkc - simply for the music

beating robotnik for the 1st time in sonic 1 was a huge accomplishment for me back in the day as was beating lance in pokemon silver

just a general note- beating the final boss of older games is alot more satisfying cus you didnt have infinite lives and would have to go through the entire game again if you ran out

AsadMahdi59

Yeah the new game bosses look more epic.....but a lot of the newer game bosses kind of lose their luster when you just respawn and go right back at it...There are a few exceptions to the rule..Demon Souls for example...

You know when you were little...and crap was going down. You fought through hordes of enemies and you get to "the door" Yknow that door. You don't quite know whats on the other side of it, but you know its going to be big.

Yep what is your favorite boss battle? Everything included even the level for buildup.

My favorite has got to be ridley in the 2d metroid games...and if I need to be more specific the SNES Super Metroid out of the 2d games.

You first get to lower norfair and first thing you notice is the music. The enemies in the area were tough and the forboding tunes just screamed at you that this place meant serious business. Then you get into that really large room and duel ridley in a long epic battle until both of you have barely any health left. Just seeing who outlasts who. When at the last freaking moment when you are drained to your final 30 energy. BAM! you got the final charge in and it was enough.

At least that is what happened to me the first time I played super metroid lol.

I also have to give a nod to Phantoon from the same game in the ghost ship, Bowser from Super Mario World, The Evil Wizard from Zelda aLttP, Scorch from Spyro: YotD, and Jecht from Final Fantasy X.
