This if anything is solid proof that when it all comes down to it, game reviews are in fact just someones opinions. A professional one, albeit an opinion all the same, which doesn't have to correspond to your opinions. Just play the game yourselves and have good time with it. I sure will.
I hate to be that guy, but I have to say I'm a bit sceptical to this whole levolution thing. It looks too scripted to me. For example, I have only seen the same skyscraper fall together in the Siege of Shanghai map. I feel this will get old after playing for a while, seeing the same levolution effects occuring everytime you play.
@stan_boyd @NexusSpawn @shingui5Yeah, that I agree with. However I think it's important to keep those subjects seperated as oversexualization and gender roles are two different things. As you said, oversexualizing is very unnecessary, but the whole debate about male vs female in games and their respective role in games is another, especially if neither gender has any explicit implications or exaggerated features.
@shingui5 I understan what you say, but I still have to agree with Zhaeshan on this. If there is a choice wether you want to play as a male or female, I choose male 90% of the time. It's not that I can't play as female characters, I really liked Tomt Raider for example, but it just feels more natural for me to play as a male if I can. It more easily relatable to me. After all, at the end of the day it's just digital entertainment, and games should be taken as such. This whole gender role "issue" is getting way out of hand, in my oppinion.
