I want to start off by saying Im a huge dodgers fan so it doesnt seem like im whining. I just dont like how some teams seem to spend money as if it grows on trees. big markets like NY, LA, BOS and CHI dont give smaller market teams like FLA, KC,and COL a chance. if MLB was like the nfl and had a salary cap than more people would follow baseball. for example each offseason i know there is a good chance the dodgers will sign a big name free agent but teams like the royals, d-rays, and pirates dont have a chance. just saying it would be better for baseball and better for fans.cLAssic_BLUE
you do know that KC has one of the richest owners in the MLB hes just to cheap

A-Rod is a good player i give u that but he just seems spoiled in a way, it seems like if he doesnt get what he wants he will throw a hissy fit until he gets what he wants. he just reminds me of a spoiled brat thats it.como_chingas

I just started pre-season, so I'm going to do a LOT of practices and see how the ratings change before the start of the regular season. I'll come back and update this post at the end of the month.

Ok, so I've completed a full 82 games season for NBA 2K7. I play as the Dallas Mavericks. All my guys had ratings of 84 or higher. The guy I created was at a 92 rating. So the season end and I'm at next years pre-season. All my players skill have dropped anywhere from 10-15pts. WTF!?!? So Dirk went from 98 rating to 85. My created player went from 92 to 81. This wouldn't be an issue if the players on the other teams did the same thing, but they don't. I looked at Jermaine O'neal and he was still at 93 rating. Gilbert Arenas was at 96 rating. So why hasn't the other teams rating changed? Besides using "Development" under the Coaching menu, how do I increase my ratings again? Why did they drop so much to begin with. It's ridiculous. I could understand 2-5 pts, but 10-15 is way to much. My created guy is a rookie. There's no way his skills would drop that much. If anything, they should have increased. Anyone knows how this works with the ratings from season to season?blackace
um when you finish a season you have to set up practices if you dont then of course its gonna drop. In October you have 3 or 4 straight weeks to set up practices and thats when th eplayers develop if you dont set up practices during th eoff season how do you expect your players to progress. I if your doing practice mode then idkl what your doing wrong in a 3 year player Marcus Williams became a 92 rated player

[QUOTE="NetYankEagle"][QUOTE="Espurs117"]Yeah jump on the A-rod bandwagon now Yankee fans, hate him later this year when he fails to hit on the 9th vs the bosox's.Steelers_86

Im not a flip flopper i never booed A-Rod

i've never booed him or said he was a bad player, but when it comes playoff time i get down right frustrated when he doesn't perform.

when it comes playoff time i boo everybody if they fail to advance which has happened 3 years straight

I say Nash because he's taking his game to a whole new level this season. I mean he's averaging 19pts and 11 assists a game and always comes through in the clutch for his team. Like the 2OT game against the Mavs where he scored 10 pts in the last 50 seconds to send the game to OT. And I'd take his leadership, sportsmanship and general attitude over Kobe, AI or any other player in the league. Points per game don't mean everything.pundog
When your Kobe and have a scrub ass team yet you bring them to playoffs your a leader. Kobe and the Ball Hog excuse is always wrong Iverson and the Ball hog excuse is also wrong now but before Iverson never passed the ball but Kobe is still better then Iverson and Nash.
