Anyone else see the game last night? I thought Francona should've left Schilling in for the 8th but atleast we survived until Papelbon came in, that kid is amazing, he makes MLB players look like small children. And Big Papi finally got the bat going.jimmygraceyea i remember that time Papelbon made Derek Jeter look like a little kid in august:lol:

Yeah I know, how dumb.
Yeah people expect him to be a super human but for a normal human team it might just be hard to make a Rotain pop fly or ground ball hit on a major league baseball Diamond and hit by a pro. For $250 million the guy better be superhuman. You sign a contract like that and you are going to be expected to make every play that matters. I feel for the guy but thats what happens when you a) make a silly amount of money like that and b) play in NY. I mean no one else in Baseball has a contract that even remotely compares to A-Rods, so he better be superhuman. When your team has the best payroll in baseball you shouldn't care. The Truth[QUOTE="NetYankEagle"][QUOTE="d12malu"]Ya, probably Tiger Woods or Steve Nash. It's the people who respect the game the most and say all the right things. If you count retired players, I personally like Charles Barkley, even though he talks out of his ass alot. He's like a big ol' homebody funny guy you want in your corner.d12malupeople hate steve nash Who could hate that guy? Always clean cut, respectful, and plays the game at full speed all the time. He's not my favorite by any means, but I definitely don't hate him. Plus he's Canadian, they don't bother anyone :)possibly the whole Lakers Fan Base I persoanally don't like him
