bush isn't even conservative. spending under his watch has been out of control and the highest in history, even when you exclude military spending. not only that, he is engaging in adventurism overseas, which conservatives traditionally eschew. and he talks the talk about free trade while he puts tarriffs on lumber and steel just to get votes. ROLFCHANK
Neocon ideology, it's the conservative version of big goverment, it's been pretty damaging to the country the last several years with it's anti freedom, pro spending, anti intelectualism,.....luckily I think it's begining to die out.

Hey great job on choosing a source that is completely biased. I hope you yourself don't endorse this.

"Faith Freedom International is a grassroots movement of ex-Muslims. Its goals are to (a) unmask Islam and show that it is an imperialistic ideology akin to Nazism but disguised as religion and (b) to help Muslims leave it, end this culture of hate caused by their "us" vs. "them" ethos and embrace the human race in amity. We strive for the unity of Mankind through the elimination of Islam, the most insidious doctrine of hate. "
(Hmmm.... doesn't this doctrine the site advicates publically sound a little ironic to anyone?)

Also, this article has done exactly what it was intended to do. Intise hate towards Islam and Muslims in the hearts of those who simply don't know any better. First of all, there is not one country in this world that has sharia law (ie: Islamic law). So for you to attack Islam because of a country having a kink in their judicial system is completely moronic. For those of you who don't know, our own judicial system was strongly influenced by Sharia law itself! I bet you didn't know that, did you?

Do you think our judicial system is perfect? I hope not. Why do you expect the judicial system of a third world country to be perfect? The middle east is in need of a reform. Muslims themselves have been screaming these things themselves. However, they don't want our help. Reform is something that is done within the country itself, not through a country policing their way into it, and forcing change... this doesn't work, and historically it has never worked. I don't understand why some Americans honestly think you can just walk into a country and 'fix' their problems.

I know some of you hate muslims, i've met many of you living in this country. I don't know whether its because you are just angry in nature and need someone to be you enemy, or you have simply been brainwashed through biased media with articles similiar to this. Frankly, I don't know what the agendas are for people who are shedding bad light on the religion, and calling on its destruction. However, let me tell you this: We ain't going anywhere. We right here. -DMX

This is a little hipocritical, in our socioty murder and rape are capital crimes, but when somebody commits a crime that is by their standards just as bad as what I've mentioned the same supporters of the death penalty get angry. Hipocritical imo.

[QUOTE="Nameless3"][QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]I might have already posted here, but the fact that people can debate whether or not to make it legal is just sad. Of course it should be illegal.SolidSnake35
Why is it sad, and why is it illegal? Do you haven any reasoning or are you just trolling?

I just think it's ridiculous that people could want something like that legalised. No one can tell me that marijuana is a good thing, and therefore it should remain illegal. It's bad enough as it is that people can smoke regular cigarettes in some public places. Besides, one thing leads to another... Personally, I think it's common sense, so that's why I didn't give any reasoning.

So I'm guessing that you don't know about the medical uses, how countrys that have legalized have seen both drops in crime and use? Personally I see legalizing something to create a drop in crime and legalizing something that could help our economy is common sence.

no marijuana should not be legal, it would just make more lazy addicts who have nothing to do with thier lives but smoke pot.

 Uh steriotypes ftw?

why do you want it legalized?

Every country that has legalized it has seen a drop in use, every country that has legalized it has seen a dramatic drop in crime, thewar on drugs is expensive and unafective, if legalized, dramaic cuts to this failed program could save the U.S. alot of money, if legalized the goverment could tax it, helping the economy, instead of fueling the black market as it currentally does,if legalized the goverment and companys could regulate the quality, lowering related injurys.

it serves no good in our society only makes more criminals. many of your arguments are if alcohol is legal so should marijuana but then why dont you legalize cocaine, PCP and all those other drugs,

cocain and pcp are no where near as widely used, although if marijuana was legalized drug like you mentioned that actually harm people could bec focused on.

it will cause more murders a higher death rate because when people are high they could care less about anything even a persons life.

Thank you for demonstrating that you have absolutely no knowledge of how it affects a persons body, killing people? I haven't heard bs like that in a while.

the last thing we need is a bunch of pot smoking addict hippies that start chanting **** like, "no blood for oil." And peace well the world cant be perfect.

This is sig worthy....wow

legalizing marijuana would be a death sentence for the government. and dont give me **** about medical uses.

Yes, the best resolve is to stay ignorant of it's medical uses, like it being a safe and effective pain killer, which would be much better than the very dangerous morphine, how it has been shown to slow down the development of aids in the body, or how it has been shown that people who smoke it have lower rates of cancer, but let's just ignore that becouse of the hippy steriotypes you've deluded yourself to believe.UrbanSpartan125
