[QUOTE="Mewi"]

I just bought this mac pro , it only cost me 4,999 dollars, Two 2.66GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon "Westmere" processors, 6GB (six 1GB) memory,1TB hard drive,18x double-layer SuperDrive,ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB GDDR5 Seriously who could pass that up? Like to see a PC do any better.

and I got the awesome 27" Apple Cinema Display monitor upgrade, it is the best of the best. It only cost me an additional $899s but totally worth it for the look and quality vs their competitors crap Dell. Apple products do look the best, so you are right, I understand buying these high quality products from manufacturers even though I hate PC! Best purchase I have ever made in my life.

It said it would ship in 2-4 days, good news, it arrived last week and only took 2 days to get to my front porch.

Additional Purchases

Accessories: Magic Mouse
Mouse: Magic Trackpad
Keyboard: Apple Wireless Keyboard.

So congrats on your purchase :3

Without actually reading anything except the topic title. Have you tried enabling PWM settings in BIOS ? lol *Insert more lazyness here*

superclocked

And be sure to disable the flux capacitor. It's a pain in the ass waiting for the CPU to reconstruct so many bits of data from different time periods...

I was referring to the BIOS PWM fan control settings not your flying car ^.~ o.o

wd-40 trick works for crackly volume controls on speakers also.

wewantdoom4now

WD-40 is not recommended as it isn't really meant for things that move that fast. It is good for getting stuck parts moving and cleaning. But a fan lubricant? Absolutely not.

sewing machine oil is commonly recommended. FDA approved lubricants for food based machinary may be a good alternative, although I have yet to put it into practice.
