I am happy with my Playstation 5. Only 2 small errors during the total time, I have been playing. But Sony seems to have fixed with the update. The shape/design has grown on me. The controller is great, haptic feedback is a nice gimmick. The handles of the controller a bit long. Taken some time to get use to after Dualshock 4.

I have just returned home with my Playstation 5 console, an extra controller and 3 games Miles Moralles, Demon Souls, and Sackboy Big adventure. The design of the PS5 has grown on me. I didn't like it when it was first revealed but I have grown to like it. However when new side plates are released by Sony I will get a design/color I like. Happy launch day everyone.

Yup, I would buy a Nintendo Switch TV console, because I bought the PS Vita TV micro console. Despite having a PS Vita 1000 and Slim PS Vita 2000 handheld consoles. So this time Nintendo will "pull a Sony" if a Switch television only console happens. Usually every one else "pulls a Nintendo" including Nintendo themselves.

Microsoft can and will undercut Sony on Price. The Xbox series X will be cheaper since Microsoft can take the economic hit. Sony will end up releasing Playstation 5 for up to $599.99 for the Blu Ray Disc version. Microsoft can release Xbox series X Blu Ray Disc version for as low as $450.00. Sony is most likely to release the digital only version of PS5 for $399.99. While Microsoft can take the hit on Xbox series S all digital edition at $299.99. Both digital consoles from MS and Sony are "throw a way offerings". but people will buy them.

Microsoft can take the financial hit to the tune of Billions of dollars which they did with the original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. They never have had any success in Japan. But Microsoft will show up in Japan with Xbox series X anyway.

So for the price point of the launch consoles Microsoft wins. Because they can. Sony cannot afford to mess their price point up.

But it is the games that matter. At $70.00 each that will decide who wins this 9th Generation.

I kinda like the design of the Playstation 5 console. At first it seemed a bit over the top but it grows on you. Sony Playstation Brand began way back in Dec 3rd 1994, so the 5 Playstation console in 2020 looks like it is future proof.

I will be getting the $599.99 Blu Ray Disc drive version. with 3 games and an extra Dual Sense controller. The stand to lay the PS5 console horizontal A $1000 dollar launch day expense. But it is worth it. Gaming is an expensive hobby.

Xbox series X will come later, but will be another grand. I will justify it because of the worldwide Corona Virus Pandemic

I would say yes Nintendo will stick with cartridges for what ever system follows the Switch in 2024 ish. Nintendo will just release a better version of their current game card. Cartridges are more expensive but I still have a soft spot for them.

I have 2 Nintendo Switch systems. The original Launch Version which I waited to buy after a little more than 2 years on the market. The just 1.5 months ago I ended up purchasing the current Switch model. The revision with the better battery life, Better Screen brightness. Which is the better version and if you keep you Nintendo Switch systems on default settings. Than the differences between models 001 and 101 are noticed. But for most people, they will not notice. It is only worth the upgrade if you use the Nintendo Switch as a handheld portable game system. If you just keep it in the dock don;t bother with getting the new model if you have the lauch version. I kept my old Switch since I have a back up should the other Nintendo Switch is lost, Stolen, Forgotten in the Airport, Destroyed etc. Replacing the joy con controllers is $90.00 so it didn't bother trading it in. Sorry for the long post. but people are going to ask you do you need 2 Nintendo Switch Systems or get the Switch mini for the "Gameboy experience"

You just know it. Starting a new console generation is expensive. This is a given Playstation 5 and Xbox series X are going to cost $499.99 at least. Sony may be a tiny bit cheaper. $450.00

Then an extra controller and a game or two. On-live subscription. I get 3 games on launch day so about $900.00 ish on day one.

Playstation 5 first then Xbox Series X later on.

No PC gamers will stay the same and loyal to PC gaming. Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 will have no effect on PC gaming universe. The 9th Generation of Videogames is soon to arrive. PS5 and Xbox Series X will do very well but have no bearing on PC game players since the Console and Personal computer gaming universes do not really mix together. So the 9th gen will remain mostly the same, just with better graphics. No matter which you choose Console or PC. This is an expensive hobby.
