Just curious if someone can help me. I may be in the market for a bc PS3 and I want to know if it's worth it and the best way to get the optimal resolution for playing PS2 games.

Options available to me: PS3 playing PS2 through HDMI with/without Smoothing

PS3 playing PS2 through component with/without smoothing

Or just sticking with PS2 through component on an HDTV

Too short, no multiplayer and no replay value ain't going to cut it in this day and age but both those games have gone way cheaper by now. I might purchase.

Great games like Vanquish and Enslaved come out and nobody plays them, but why? Will Catherine share the same fate since it isn't pushed by Gamestop or advertised by major gaming magazines? I really want to know what the deal is with these great games that fail simply because they aren't a sequel or a reboot.

well that doesnt mean alot really. i been working at gamestop for a lil over a year now. in this outage that ps3 has been in, we only got in 2 ps3s to sell but that went towards a wii, and the other guy used it to get a slim since he had a fat 40gb. in the end, sony will be fine ull see. once psn is back up, l.a. noire is released, infamous 2, and all the good exclusives ps3 has this year, will make a ps3 sales jump again. same ppl who sold their ps3 for xboxs they will sell it abck for ps3s. just wait and see

I also remember reading that the studio was looking for people with experience in the Shooter genre. So...I'm almost positive GoW won't be seeing a multiplayer as much as Santa Monica Studios is looking to make a multiplayer based shooter. But that's just me.

Since the online for Brink is s**t anyway it won't be that much of a loss even if you buy the game.

And it's funny how many PS3's we've been getting in used and selling used. Before the attack we couldn't get a PS3 in used for the life of us, and in one day two days ago we got two. TWO. Then I find out from the owner that our other store has gotten 8-9 over the last week.

In short I find it funny that people are switching over to 360 because of this ordeal. I can understand that people want and NEED to play online but you can't wait in the line?

So my current layout is Top Row from the left - Light / Medium / Heavy / L+M+H (dash, hypers) || Bottom Row from the left - Special (Launcher) / Partner 1+2 / Partner 2 / Partner 1. I just bought the stick and I'm still looking for something perfect. Anybody have a fightstick and play a lot or do I have to go to Shoryuken?
