But Blizzzard can make itself much better CGI film for its franchise so why need other studio. Blizzard should restrict Legendary to non-CGI film.

If Sony want to beat Xone and rule out nextgen in US then it needs such a generic FPS because most of US players priority is a game like Halo and a reason why X360 is the best seller in US and if Sony thinks that its JRPGs will be trending in the region then Sony will have to create another mega title like WoW which Sony unfortunately lacks too. Sony has an only option to win nextgen
