I have the original Xbox from around 2003 in a cupboard somewhere. Microsoft suddenly dropped support for it completely when the 360 came out. That left a bad taste in my mouth so I went over to Playstation and never looked back.
When I was on the Xbox though I did enjoy playing Halo. I had just finished playing Halo 2 when the 360 came out with Halo 3. That’s right, no Halo 3 for my Xbox. No more support, nothing. The servers for my games stayed on till about 2010 but I didn’t care anymore by then. I was on Playstation 3.
No, I haven’t got a PS5. It doesn’t yet do Stereoscopic 3D, games or video playback, so I have no incentive. If the PSVR 2 does Stereoscopic 3D though, then I will definitely be tempted.
I don’t think I have ever had PT installed. To be honest I don’t even remember what PT is, but the picture in the Article above does look vaguely familiar.
I’ve got a pale blue ‘Limited Edition’ PS4 with “Sic Parvis Magna” and some gorgeous ‘Uncharted’ related artwork on it. I mention this only so that you can date roughly when I bought my ‘precious’ (circa 2015/16). I haven’t deleted any games yet as far as I know but, like I said, the picture in the Article above does look familiar even if only vaguely.

Oh,and one other thing. The Stereoscopic 3D games are effing amazing.
@ebonyflame: Yep. Those in addition to what was said in the Article. Many of those the writer refers to, and the items in your list too, I was unaware of.
The lack of 3D however is the main reason I have stayed away from the PS5. Playing games like Obduction in 3D, especially on the PSVR, is incredible. The extra resolution of the PSVR 2 would be amazing for 3D games and movies.
I’ve still got my PS3 (Original 60GB version) and my PS3 Slim. Can’t use the Original anymore. Red light of death. Still use the Slim though from to to time. I’m right now upgrading my Ethernet with an electronic switcher so that I don’t have to keep remembering to plug it back in when I want to use it.
They really are scraping the bottom of the barrel his month aren’t they?
PS+ has really gone downhill since they introduced this three tier system. I bet those of us on Essential won’t get Sable even if they own a PS5.
My sub. runs out next November so I miss the latest price rise until next year. Missed it by one day! I think I may drop PS+ then. After I have downloaded what I do like, including PS3 stuff of course. I don’t use online multiplayer enough to miss it. I certainly won’t miss that Invasion thing.
@cantor2537: Same here. Personally I would like some FPS like Sniper Elite or Sniper: Ghost Warrior games. It’s my favourite genre. I thoroughly enjoyed SE 5.
Having said that “What Remains Of Edith Finch” is proving to be rather good right now. So I’m not going to rule anything out. With the possible exception of ‘zombie’ style games. I won’t go near those.
No guys Saints Row 2022 is actually really good it just had bugs guys you are being too harsh on it guys guys seriously it's not a bad game you're just parroting what internet reviewers say guys
I haved noticed with movies and such that the worse the so called Critics say a new movie is the better it actually turns out to be, and vice versa. So I will be giving the game a chance.
@Zombie8814: So they should have said “Saints Row since its reboot in 2022”. I haven’t got the game yet and am not familiar with it, hence my confusion. It makes sense now. Thanks.
@jenovaschilld: Gameplay wise, Saints Row has always been better than GTA.
BTW, did you ever try Saints Row 3 and Saints Row 4? Those are the best Saints Row games.
At the beginning of the article it says Saints Row was “first launched in August 2022”. I wonder if that is correct. That’s only a year ago. Seems as bit quick to have had three more Saints Row games.
Or maybe there was? I don’t have any of them so I’m only guessing.
