The sad thing is that the target audience(console gamers) are stupid enough to believe it.

January 2012:
-released a single GPU (HD7970GHz) that performs 2 times better than ps4 GPU.
November 2013:
-ps4 released. (22 months late and half the performance).

what 2014/5 PC they are talking about? a low-end?

Spending more than a 1/4 of the total cost to SSD/HDD is a bit weird considering you build it for gaming, will make more sense use this money to buy a GTX 690.

the whole article looks like is taken from a system wars thread... I love how he say desktop use more electricity but fail to say that you need to pay double the amount of money to get the same performance with the laptops. Also the "a pain in the ass to maintain" statement come from??? I guess it is easier for Mark Walton to buy a hole new laptop instead of just upgrade the component he need to.

@MacDee23 Do you realize that a pc from 2006 play all multiplats better(higher rez, settings, fps, etc) than xbox/ps3 let alone the medium range PC from 2011... also pc are more cost effective than consoles. I hope the thing you said about the Gears of War 3 was a joke right?
