i wouldnt go that far. i mean, aar doesnt even attempt solos and they cant write for **** they are just another pop/ rock band with no talent at all. but i do agree that nirvana should not be worshipped.
cobain was a terrible guitar player, even groll(i think thats how you spell it) will tell you that. so thats why you get very simple melodies. however, imo kurt was an amazing lyrisist and thats the major strength of the band. i know they arent one, but it helps to think of them as a punk band. they arent about huge epic solos(too bad), they are about the attitude.
I mean, theres been no real classic albums or amazing bands like in the 60s, 70s and 80s etc. There doesnt seem to be any originality, alot of indie bands sounds the same, theres alot of hype for these bands as well (the arctic monkeys for example) so there bound to dissapoint on some level. Music these days doesnt really hold my attention like the older bands, Id get bored of them after a while and then leave the album to gather dust on the shelf.

I agree with you that new music sucks.
But imo 80's music was pretty bad and 90's music was pretty good. 00 music is pretty bad. It's a pattern. Music is gonna be good again in 2010
80's was the best decade......you must not have listened to the right music.
aye judas priest and old metallica would have been plenty to get me through the 80's

Devs? you DO know this is the first FF movie right? there were no "devs" it's not a game. And it was very photo realistic many times it even complately fooled people into believing they were looking at live action footage. But with a lackluster story that was raped by hollywood script writers and 11th hour staff changes that removed the original creator and his vision it was doomed to failure. As a technological testimate to the power of digital film making it was a great movie but as a story made for entertainment purposes it sucked hairy horse balls.

screw that. if somebody starts a fight with you, you should finish it. its as simple as that. if you let one person walk all over you, they you give everybody the right to do so.
