@lifeline81 Are you sure they aren't charging at cost to maintain the service? hosting servers is expensive.

Will have to see a price before I make a decision, if it's like a dollar a month or so I'll be fine, but higher then that and I'll have to call foul.

@Xristophoros You realize that cloud servers (ALL cloud services) cost money to maintain, don't judge till a price comes out. If it's a dollar or so they are just charging to maintain the service, more then that though you can feel free to call them out on it.

Also Nintendo is in the green so they don't need to squeeze every penny they can get.

@torreth1 @JJ_Productions his problem is he needs a patch in the first place, they shouldn't release a game that is clearly not ready to be shipped. His comparison to Nintendo comes from the fact Nintendo has a lengthy 'beta' period were they grind out all the bugs before launch.

@SavageEvil @PixelAddict @Leivve you need to rewrite that, it's a jumbled mess and I can't understand what the focus of your post is, but I'll try to guess what your saying.

I know Platinum wants to go second party (or at the least be firmly placed in Nintendo's pocket), I made a comment about it a little further down.

What does feed back have to do with this in any way, and how does Bethesda having bugging games matter at all?

Though to humor you, the reason is because they rush their games out without giving them good amount of beta testing. That and they know the community will give them a shopping list of bugs to fix so they can just take care of it later via a patch. Which is a shitty business practice mind, but that's how their minds work.

@rsj2 @Hekteur @xolivierx This is why Nintendo has been getting back into second party development, via Bayonetta.

@Daian @Leivve Yes I did. Microsoft and Sony pay developers to work on their systems early on so get can get a strong starting library, Nintendo is relying on it's first parties to give them success and hope third parties will jump on board with them.

If you read between the lines he's basically saying "you need to pay us for the privilege for us to make games for your system"

So basically they want Nintendo to pay them to make games for their system like Microsoft and Sony do, instead of standing on their own feet.

This isn't news, if they were doing to do a Ambassador Program they would have said so along side the price drop. The fact they need to address it means some entitled shit went ahead and assumed they were doing it.

The 3ds had it because the price drop was so soon after the release that they felt they were burning the early buyers, but the WiiU has been out to a long time now; such a thing isn't needed.
